Hi Everybody. Kent Scoobies Club wish to start a club register for all scooby owners who are, or wish to be, part of the Kent club. You don't have to be a SIDC member, just interested in being part of the Kent club. If you would like a form to join the Register this includes existing members, then please PM me with your name and address and I will send you a form to complete, ( hopefully within a week ) it will not cost you anything, except a stamp, so please apply. We are hoping to build an overall picture of where club members are located, type of cars, age group, interests ect, and mod's if any. This will help organizer's to tailor the club to suit most members in the coming months, and build a better club for all. The London region are organizing there very first Meet on 9th December. Some of the Kent members have already signed up for this. There is talk about meeting at the ACE CAFÉ, but not confirmed. I have spoken to the nice Lady that tend's for all my needs about being allowed out. She has talked to my Doctors and they have confirmed that as long as I take my medication and that as long as I'm not excited to much I should remain quite sane for the night. Had a look today. The owner is a really nice guy but the car is very very tied. However it did drive well and not to noise. To many dents and tied paint so where still looking. If we get a dent deal going at say £50 a panel it would pay to buy the car. LOL

It just goes to show that with a little imagination the car could have become a most desirable piece of kit. What a pity that Subaru no longing see our section of the market as important. The new car is focused at the European market and not SIDC members. We don't put enough profit into Subaru's worldwide corporation for them to cater for our tastes. A great pity for us. It might leave an opening for some entrepreneur to manufacture and market a kit, but I suspect not to many of us will be queuing up for one at around £3500 plus fitting.

Now that was driving and he was drunk after lunch, but I'm still here to tell the story. No ABS - TAC or any fancie tech-no stuff, just share driving skill.
