  1. As it has been pointed out to me, not everyone is going to Rally Day so this is on. Meet at the garage at 10:30 on the Saturday morning.
  2. Also now have motec in Paignton. But the other two are great.
  3. This is now not on as it is apparently rally day at Castle Combe on that date. Will look at October/November
  4. The owner is going to be offering services that may well be of interest to the Scooby world - e.g. NO2, Exhaust systems and remaps. The address is: Torbay Business Park, Unit 11 Woodview Rd, Paignton, TQ4 7HP, United Kingdom 01803 559774 Those going so far: 1. Terry Butcher 2. Ed 3. JD n Vix 4. Capn Jerry 5. Brian P1 6. Woody 7. Mutt 8. ScoobyGaz1 9. Benjikwrx x 2?
  5. I am going but I will be staying on Anglesey the night before so will not be in convoy going, but might be for the return trip!
  6. I found it boring last year and with all kinds of outgoings of cash at the moment I find it almost impossible to justify doing a car show. Although the SIDC stand was friendly enough last year (as always! ) I did find the "chavs" and their "chav mobiles" a bit much. I have enough of them at work and their antics around Torbay without having to spend time socialising near them. I did try several shows last year but having done the bigs one up at Peterborough over the years I find these a little dissapointing. The exception for me was the McRae Gathering and that was epic! I do hope that it survives though, for those who enjoy it and especialy the organisers.............. I know how hard it is to organise these things and have given up trying down here. Too many complaints of nothing going on and then the same folks put their names down but "forget" to attend. So I will just turn up unannounced to most things in future as I will probably only know if I can afford to go at the last minute. Sorrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  7. Good set of pics though, well done!
  8. Mel!! U put that horrible pic of me in too
  9. Never mind SC I am sure that they will appear soon. The star vehicle for me was not our 8 Scoobs or the 8 minis or the fire engine etc etc but the dirty JCB with the seat in the bucket and the driver in black tie outfit!
  10. Fantastic meet, what a way for the lad to arrive - and what a crowd to watch too, did not know so many folks lived in Looe. Thanks for arranging it Mel n Mark!
  11. any maps for meeting point etc?
  12. Group of cars and bikes going green and visiting Eden Project leaving the Lee Mill Tesco car park at 10am and heading over the Tamar bridge and down into Cornwall. Should be at Eden by midday. Anyone interested in joing up with us?
  13. Keep safe fella, we are all thinking of all of you back here in the UK hoping that you all come back safe and well.
  14. It is a shame they are so hard to spot, we do have a white one near here which looks absolutely stunning, wide and low. No mistaking that it is something special but........................... the driver never waves back!
  15. Hoping to run a trip from Torbay area up to Cheddar on the 1st March. Will be meeting at the Sainsburys car park at the Penn Inn roundabout Newton Abbot at 10.00 for a 10:30 set off.
  16. Oh dear, lol. I am sure we have all done that kind of thing before. There will be more events!!
  17. i normally miss your model too - sorrreeeee - but it looks too similar to other hatches mainly.
  18. 8 Scoobs and 1 Civic all parked up at the Eden Project! Nice to see the new guys and gals from down Cornwall way (and Essex!!) After faffing around trying to get a group discount from the £15 per person entrance fee down to £10.70 for ten people we then found that living in Devon or Cornwall allowed us a £5 fee instead - and for a whole year!! Was a very nice day too, even the sun shone. Nice and warm in the biospheres. Apparently the blue tractors they use for the land train are very green - therefore I suppose my Scoob is also very green as it is blue!! Unlike all the others in silver and white and black, lol. Thanks for turning up folks it made for a very nice day out.
