  1. If anyone is interested some locals here are meeting at the Church House Inn at Marldon near Paignton at 7.30pm om Monday 31st Jan for a chat and greet. All are welcome.
  2. I only came back over the weekend after a long time away
  3. oh dear. I suppose a Ninja 2 is a bit tiny and quiet
  4. But I am a good boy sir and would not dream of making a lot of noise and upsetting the neighbours - no sir not me sir
  5. erm - NO! Was so embarrassed that it was not any more fuel efficient that I binned them and then gave myself a good talking to. Needless to say it is a smidge over the standard 227bhp now! The upgraded 255 lph fuel pump, cold air induction, Samco 76mm induction hose, Ninja II back box and through pipe centre section with front section sports cats have added at least 1 bhp so I have upgraded the brake pipes and put go faster grills on the front - all in the interests of safer stopping and as a warning to others that this car will be faster than their 1.2 Corsa, just in case they had not realised that it would be anyway as it is a blue one!. Just got to chav it up with a noisy BOV and then get a remap and we should hit 230bhp, lol.
  6. I did a few sums and read a few books and thought that if I improved the breathing of the Mighty Flat Four it would become more fuel efficient - hence greener - and please the Government. Imagine how shocked I was to find that my sums were wrong and in fact the car is not leaner but meaner instead!!! What have I done? It has put an insane smile on my face that will not go away at the moment.
  7. All is ok here. A bit bored with the Dartmoor thing s trying to get a run a bit further away to the far north of Devon! Gonna try for this Sunday if the mods are finished in time.
  8. 06 Plate "Standard" WRX, lol

  9. Hi everyone, long time no chat - hows it all going?
  10. Anyone interested in a drive out somewhere. I am in Paignton and looking to head towards Exeter then up to North Devon maybe? Somewhere where I can do the speed limit for a while would be nice. Oh yes and Happy New Year, been a long time since I was on here. Now about divorced and moved - but kept the Scooby! Tel
  11. very nice but where would we park (er)? Better unstick this thread SP. Cheers
  12. I went and had my brekkies here today. It was good.
  13. Thanks SP, I feel quite positive about things again now, just got to turn it into trips out. We need to get a multi area get together sorted, A nice run to the seaside in the summer would be good, but I am mindful of the financial situation of quite a few folks so will try and get things sorted with you r/o types.
  14. It looks like we are going to cancel this as the weather has been so bad recently and many of us are not fit enough to even drive at the moment. It will be arranged for later in the year so if anyone needs to know more please PM me and keep your eyes open for other events. Instead we are likely to do a more local run to the South Devon area that you are all invited to join in with. I will need some kind of notice to that if you intend to go so we do not leave without you. It will not be a planned route but just a blat and splat somewhere. Thanks for all the personal support you guys have sent me via pms recently after the incident that made life on the forums bad news for me. It has not put me off Tel
  15. Cancelling this for the 10th as Haldon is not a good place to be when it snows! Will try again on the 17th.
  16. Alan Jefferies is very good indeed - in Plymouth. Kevin Lofts of KL Car Preparations in Heathfield near Newton Abbot also knows what he is doing!
  17. Well quite frankly if the police advise not to travel then I do not. We are not at war and my life is worth more than some manager ranting and raving that some folks made it in. Plenty to do around the house - now where did I put the pinny with the tinny in the pocket? mmm
