in all fairness there are not many pre 93 scoobs left on the road but there are some and my mate is rebuilding one just now, and if 2 post 93 cars crashed and it was found out one never had cat on it then is it not road legal so the driver would prob get done for not having insurance. just my thoughts on wot would happen. but your mot is fine if your car was tested with cat on it and then you remove it to put decat back on you are still mot'd

because you are messing around with the standard factory settings in other words as soon as you plug a computer in to the ecu and start messing around with things ie more power pops and bangs. apexi power fc is not a road legal ecu its a pure racing ecu.

Jw gotta ask you this but why are you preaching about the legallities on things when you are the guy that runs around with illegal number plates??? and for the record pre 93 scoobies can run full decat and sale through mot emmissions, and i know of a 95 classic that sailed mot running a full decat. and just so you know that anybody that has a car mapped is illegal!! and all the mods you have done to your car with out telling insurance is illegal, need i go on. so even if you change your plates your car is still illegal. there was a fault with the maf!!!!!! go figure when plugged standard ecu car ran fine john must be something to do with apexi being bit more sensitfive(spelling not worth jack $hit)so trigger safe mode and shut doon the bloody lot not good when in middle of a roundabout than standard ecu as i have changed maf and car running like the wee sweetie she is.

the car is an sti import. And the car has ran for bout year now with apexi in it just cut out in middle of a roundabout. Just glad had standard ecu to plug back in

oh i meant to say the car does turn over just wont run.???

evening all long time to see!!!!!!! i have a question i was wondering if anybody that has an apexi ecu has ever came across this problem. driving car along and when came onto aroundabout the car cut out and would not start again???? so in trying to figure out coz of said problem i switched back to standard ecu and car starts and drives fine but when plug apexi back in it refuses to start.........??????? anybody got any ideas if they can loose the map from them????
