you can set the standard alarm to lock the doors aswell. Havn't got the manual but it goes along the lines of holding down one of the numbers on the imobiliser keypad for a few seconds.

I believe the map in the 08 sti is dodgy causes det at high RPM's and melts cylinder 4 piston. The reason it melts so easy is because its cast and not forged like the hawkeye pistons

its not a facelift blob either. i'm guessing it wa simported in 2006 but is more likely a 2004 model. Interior is def a pre blob facelift interior

what about getting the forrester adapter from subaru? it comes with a little pocket you can stick stuff in.

it's only the hatch engine thats not got uprated pistons, i'm sure the hawkeye's have uprated. Unless i've missunderstood a few threads that i have read about the new hatch

yes, official subaru so warrenty etc is all good, can source cars but arn't a main selling dealer.

I'm sure it does for use with a CD changer. Was thinking alpine double din or possible the kenwood double din with built in GPS. The kenwoods certenally get good reviews. will see whats said on here. -
Have done a search about and can't find an answer. can an ipod be plugged into the doubledin cd changer port on the newage stereo or am I looking at a new headunit to get this functionality. If i need a new head unit anyone got any suggestions of good one's.
