Have seent the AEM on other cars and its a good piece of kit. Also with it being so low to the ground puddles can be a problem but some have a valve in the intake to attempt to stop you drawing in water if you accidently go through a nice deep puddle. edit http://www.aemintakes.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=20 the valve to stop water ingress

I'm on a few forums due to the different car's and interest I have and have had and unfortunately the internet gives people a soap box they can jump on and say mines better bigger faster nicer etc than yours. There is no way round this happening. The main thing to do is try not get involved in the debate if your are happy with what you have got. I was very happy with the car I just sold(LCR) and only did a few minor mods as it was too much power through the front wheels without going along the expensive route of new diff etc. Now collecting the scoob very soon and it can handle more power so will get a few mods done till I am happy. I will prob show this off as most people like to show what they have done but fine it pointless getting into an argument/slanging match with someone else over it. This is a forum for car enthusiasts to talk share ideas and information on what they have found out and how to do things, I know for sure that once I have the keys and am ready to spend pennies I will be asking yourselfs for info on what trhe best thing to do is and where best to buy from. The main thing that I'm trying to get to is not to get dragged into the posts that are pointless and take things that you read with a pinch of salt and make up your own mind as to what it right and wrong with whats been said.

What size are they as £125 is bit on the steep side for 17's and bit expensive for 18's. On my lasat car 225/40/18's I was 110 per corner fitted. My tyres does the 18's for £97 each for 18's and 17's at £80
