cheers guys,Craig i've heard the H&R 's are good but the RA springs in question are very low mileage and not much money so i thought they would be a bit better than the rusty 90,000 odd mile UK springs i've got on at the moment,cheers for the info as well Ciaran.

i take it its the orange wedges youre talking about on a classic ? i gave them a rub down with fine sandpaper and sprayed them with matt black Halfords paint,i think this looks better what with the black grille and matte black area at the radiator under the number plate,if you get my drift.I take it youre colour coding then?

Very nice indeed Boab,i really like that look with the white wheels,it stood out in the Lanark meet pics for me I think however the extreme sunshine this weekend doesnt do the colour of the WR1 any justice in the pics,all the same its a cracker!

OK,i see no one has ever tried this ground braking mod ,so heres another wee question. How would i go about obtaining a part nr. for V5 Sti RA OE springs as suggested by Dunc jnr. at Hypertech? If i can obtain said number it can then be checked against the UK part nr. to see if both are compatable. Simple?.....that remains to be seen. cheers.
