how long will the MAF last with the induction kit?? Andy usually recommends a K&N panel filter and removal of inner wing resonator/snorkel. just asking as i have same M/Y as you.

i suppose its a tad early for talking about meeting up,but hey ,no point having a thread like this if you cant chat about these things. so what is the start up /meeting point in lanark...the showground?? i suppose its the only place big enough really.will we be having group convoys to lanark with designated meet-up points and group leaders...i.e Abz scoobs meeting up with Dundee area then Perth then Central(Stirling sort of area) so by the time everyone gets to Lanark it will already be a fair sized convoy,and of course all those coming up from down south doing the same. any way thats a wee talking point for this evening.

i like both sets,the white ones for April-September,the goldies for October-March(easier to keep clean)

pretty straight forward stevie,i didnt bother with a cold air feed pipe ,i'll mibbies do it in the better weather,anyway theres plenty of air coming in once the box is out,besides mines is still std. engine(no mods).The only thing youll need to do is blank off the hole in the wing thats left to stop hot air from the engine bay going back into the actual air filter box.(mind you i'm not sure if your m/y is like mines).I just used a thin (3mm) thick piece of p.v.c. sheet .i suppose a thin bit of aluminium could be used as well,it was about 4" square.I think this blanking plate is available from the stealers as well ,but why pay when i can get for free.

, i should know as Craig (Seafar 99) "deleted " my resonator box,took about an hour (coz of some sticky bolts),get a nice induction noise now and even a wee "whoosh" from the std .dump valve.

this list needs updating,theres a good few on it that folks no longer have,sold on or written off etc.i suppose the only problem is getting folk to bother with the editing out of their car.
