i am running the ebc yellow pads on my front with drilled and grooved discs and i have to say the first couple of uses of the brake pedal they are not very good but after that they are ok.but have to say that they are really hard wearing on my discs. i have had the pads on my car 2 months and i already need to change my shiney worn discs. i am going to put solid discs on this week but if they start to go the same way i will be taking the yellow pads off and putting the ebc red pads on i think

ok im looking for somewhere in the newbridge area who knows suburu's as i have a oil leak to locate.i know about calder motors but felt i they may have ripped me off the last time i used them. so if there is any other recomendations in the are please let me know.

im looking for a guide for changing the front brake pads on my prefacelift classic.im going to changing mine tomorrow but the last time i changed pads they were drum brakes.i just dont want to spend an extra hour trying to figure out how to get the calliper off.

the k is still a mystery mate. it would be nice to know though

I dont think its a gravel train it has no bars and its only 1 colour. Im sure its also registered as a uk car

this has only come to light as i am having problems buying brake pads for my car.the company EBC asked me for my applied model code so they could send me the correct pads for my car. the model code on my car is GF8C(K)8D.you'll notice that in my code there is a k instead of a 5 as my car is a wagon.i have done some searching on google which has drawn a blank.i was just wanting to know if any of the boffins on here could shed some light on this for me. this is how the model codes are supposed to work 1. Series code G=Impreza S=Forester B=Legacy etc. 2. Body type F=Wagon C=Sedan 3. Engine type 8=2.0L Turbo 4. Year code A=MY93 B=MY94 C=MY95&96 D=MY97 (facelift) E=MY98 F=MY99 G=MY00 5. Number of doors 2=2 door coupe 4=4 door saloon 5=5 door wagon/hatch 6. Model type 8=WRX 7=RA type E=Sti D=Sti Type R & RA 7. Transmission D=5 Speed Manual AWD P=4 Speed Automatic AWD

no mate there was no coolant in the resevior.im going to have a good look for any signs of a leak tomorrow.(if its dry enough that is)if not ill change the cap and see if that makes any difference. cheers mate

coolant was down a little about a 1.5 pints would this be enough to make a differance. cheers

im actually just on my way out the door to check my water level as iv realised that iv not checked since before christmas.i done the oil at the weekend but clean forgot about coolant.doh

ah ok. im going to check the pipes tomorrow if i cant find any visable problems im going to put it into the garage to get the pump looked at. cheers mate

ok i have a strange issue with my heater.i have a noticed when im driving my heater works no problem. but after iv been parked up for five minutes or so the fan kicks in but when this happens my heater starts to blow cold air but if i give my engine a few revs the hot air comes back only to blow cold air as soon as the car is at idle again.anyone else had this or know what might be causing this.
