Got this Man flu thing also. Sorry to divert, but the polish on yer motor is ' dare I say it ' a bit like a Funeral motor - the polished everyday look about it. We all go in one of these wagons one day or another but I would prefer to be be scrunched up in the back seat of yours. Fab 1 would of course de-odorize it afterwards.

Well you were right Andy after all. As mentioned, I DID send them the original ticket dispensed (by recorded post the same day it was issued) but they mysteriously didn't receive it ! They received everything else. Photo of the ticket, photo of the ticket at the dispenser showing I was legally parked, the traffic wardens ticket issued - but not the dalek produced ticket ?!?! Why would I exclude this ? ? Me and Fab 1 were maticulous when arranging this ! We DID include the dispensed ticket but Glasgow Parking said it wasn't in the letter ! Its a F*****g scam I think. Our word against theirs ? Anyways, I emailed further pics and they are ' investigating ' the incident with the Parky that booked me. Nice chap BTW. I take these trivialities by the Horlicks if I think there is injustice and will continue to. Before the wee one was born, we were at the pram centre on a Sunday and they lifted the car. And dropped it heavily in their compund breaking the exhaust ! Now they are saying I didn't include the original parking ticket ! Thats a Joke. This has now been passed to a Mrs Ward of Glasgow parking so - lets see how it continues. I will keep you all posted. (It's a scam). Sorry for coming straight back. (again) Having looked extensively at the 2008 Subaru and also reading the blogs and comments. I am so , so glad I bought an impreza when I did. I previously stated that I would not have any other car. Well, Subaru have changed me mind on this one. Will they take note of the amount of negative feedback ? Not just from here, but pretty much worldwide ? In saying that, When I first saw a Nissan Micra - well I cringed to say the least. (Anyone found a Micra that looks good?) amd they still look rubbish. I bought the Hawkeye WRX. And maybe gonna mod it it like the classic boys have done - started it already with Gus the bus- 'cos if the shape of the motor is gonna change, I want MY car to look the same as the day I bought it. Doesn't quite look like an Evo 8, but just a little bit nicer. (still has the boxing gloves though).

Stephs a super bloke. He's 10/10 when it comes to motors that require loudness. :-) He currently has the biggest Mitsubishi off roaders on the market (get this, 3ltr diesel turbo's x 2 with 22" rims) an evo 8 and an RX7 which was a magazine feature recently. He also melted 3 scoobs though...Blew 3 engines in 3 days... Gutted he was. Can ye blame him ? He's always been a petrol head but mentally petrol. Excellent bloke, excellent service. Steph. Gus the bus has done it again. Nice pair of front and back strut braces fitted today. Handling is definately better than it was. Roll on the next mod. I'll post a flick later. WARNING (they ARE pink! )

Possibly a plus side here though, Pay the F**cking G band tax and wonder - is there currently a limit (ceiling) to a domestic family cars emissions ? Would that mean a full decat would be legal ?

The registered date of the car dont matter now Welsho. Emissions rule the F/G band. Yep. yer Fecked as well as me and St3ph3n. Next year its 400 candy pops for us. (if yer emissions are over 225g/km you pay top whack) Our local sub post office confirmed this today with me. How did they get the new band data sheet just after the budget I wonder ?
