  1. Got your PM mate and thanks. Unfortunately its not the standard scooby alarm. When I bought my Scooby, the company I bought it from being www.motordepot.co.uk (checkout my testimonial LOL - but its all true) they advised that they could fit a Cat1 alarm for an extra 350 pictures of the Queen (£350 in old money as Euros are taking over) and I went for it and got a "Toad" alarm with its own keyfob, so I'm a bit Fecked as what to do. Cheers. Alan.
  2. My scoob always locks all the doors when I set off. Can this function be negated as I don't like being in a locked car when driving. This made me think after being first on the scene of an accident about 2 weeks ago and would dread to think that the lady driver was unconscious and was unable to unlock the doors. Ta, Alan.

  8. Scoobyiain's other half's quote :- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not wanting to start an argument on here but surely somwhere down the road he realised he was not behind him anymore? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ That's a fair comment. But, the weather conditions (well driving up from Airdrie were dreadfull anyway's) could have made the driver in front, not really visible to the car in the mirror and so made progress hoping to catch a glimpse further up the road, but was it a strict convoy? If just two mates going to Knockers for a blast, then possibly a fuel stop could be considered as the parting of the convoy also. I am really new here and don't like intervening in a way that sounds rude, but there could be many factors that could have accounted for the driver in front not to stop. 1. He didn't see the accident in his mirror. 2. He possibly couldn't see the car behind due to spray. 3. He has realised the car is no longer in his mirrors (when the rain cleared) but how would he think the worst. Many factors. As I am now aware, Scooby drivers stick together like glue and help each other to there utmost when the chips are down. I cannot see a Scooby, leaving a crashed Scooby at all.
  9. Superb St3ph3n. Thanks a lot for that, actually Imy, I saw you smiling at wee Hollie on the pit wall as we watched the cars, next time I'll introduce us all. Peter, Sorry for the mix up but you were the smiley chappie after (I take it to be Jools the Hooligan) were driven around the track sometimes in reverse, am I correct there ?
  10. Alan, that was Peter (FAI17) that was out in Jools car - not me LoL I'm female btw [] edit to add well done JohnS for organising another good track day [Y] pax lap donations were split 3 ways (Gla, Edn and Central) - allyb, i've got Glasgow's share. Totally confused now! Newbie, its allowed ! Lol. Ok, Imy is the Scotsman with an oriental background right (absolutely no effense mate)? Whats Imy's username? micra_wrc you are female. Apologies. FAI17 is Peter who I spoke to about the hooliganism at the hairpin right? Imy was the (ear to ear grin) in the pazzy seat. And the Scooby is Jools's brief right ? Don't know who Jools is either [] I'm sure that Imy though was laughing at our 16 month old daughter giving it vroom vroom when the cars passed the pitts. The only guys I would recognise at these meets are G-Mac and the Squirrel. Both sound blokes but didn't see them today. Yours totally confuggled. Alan,Jen and wee Hollie.
  11. Coooooooold. Wish somebody could have switched the wind off. But Imy (micra_wrx) was getting some passenger laps from a phsyco scooby driver (didn't catch his name - real nice guy) giving it sideways at the hairpin every lap. Superb! Imy had a big smile on his face that was sure. Yeah, it seemed to go really well.
  12. Me, Jen and the bairn will be up around 11.30 [] Donations for the Santa cruise for a quick lap sounds like a riot.
  13. Ally, Me and Jen have already bought a toy for the Yorkhill Santa Cruise. It's a fisher-Price train thingy (same as the one our Hollie at 16months loves!) Will this be ok or would a cash donation be better 'cos we could give the train away as a prezzy to future nephews/nieces etc. Cash donation is not a problem though, is PayPal an option? Alan.
  14. What a divet! Just checked the details. [:$]
  15. Cr*p, When is it mate.
  16. Just wondering who's going on Sunday? Is it - Just turn up on Sunday at the hospital car park at 1.00pm with a present? Alan.
  17. Did I say summit wrong St3ph3n ? If I did then I apologise.
  18. [:'(]
  19. Thought that might grab your attention LoL. Well, today, this stupid Bint pulled out in front of me causing me to 'almost' lock up the brakes. (Any of me other motors would have and impailed so mentioned Bint - not a bad thing really). For the first time with my new hawkeye WRX, I had to use the horn to vent my displeasure at bints driving non skills. How embarrasing - the sound is Gay ! Its a bit like the Roadrunners Meep Meep on amphetamines. Anyone know where to source a deep throaty (pun intended at displeasurabable Bint) horn as a replacement? C'mon, I mean the car is awesome, the growl is marvelous, the purr from the cheapo exhaust I got off ebay would put a baby to sleep and with the prowess of a Tiger on the road, has got a horn of a mini metro. Help! Alan (and Jen BTW and just to add Hollie at 16 months) I'm not Gay Honest. Ps. Not looked through the site lately - DougieC are you on the mend mate?
  20. Just read the not so good news Dougie. Hope your feeling better soon. Alan + Jen.
  21. Sorry about the cr*p quality.
  22. Not a ned car - a need car!
  23. Congrats fuzzy, Oor wee Hollie is 15½ months now and your life willnae be the same ever again. Tough at the start, but well worth it mate. [edit] Just realised that the missus (Fab 1) above has beat me to the congrats... The mares get a bit stealthy during and after pregnancy when it comes to things like congrat. postings and wallets etc. [:'(]
  24. Me and Fab 1 are not members yet. Money concerns are paramount. The order is: Scooby - fuel - service - then the baby. 15 month old Hollie is next, then Fab 1's Christmas present , then the mortgage, Leccy bill, gas bill, council tax bill etc. then the modding bills. Does that make any sense ? [] Dougie, We'll get a good chinwag with you next time we meet the Mr. HOT red wheels (Titanium into the bargain). ATB. Alan and the crew.
  25. Hawkeye, is that the new handle... lurvly. Kevan, lose the third picture link in you first post if you want to hide your numberplate mate.
