About Alan-G

  1. Agreed with Acid Gus, the leggy is looking well smart. I looked at John Weirs new Outback and was well impressed (Russell being the main man) may have one of them to tow the boat It looks well capable. The forester did it easily - but I think - for continually towing - a leeggy or an Outty may be the answer. Leggy preffered. Well done Gus.
  2. Also check your circlips around the hoses are tight enough. Normally 8 -10 mm wrench or a big fat flat screwdriver will do it. Dont over tighten though - you'll know when it 'feels' right. Pointer. Loosen circlips first to get the 'feel' then - torque them up till they feel about right. Worked for me that is !
  3. Are the hoses to your radiator cold at the top and warm at the bottom ?
  4. Andy, I touch goats. Urgent ! Sorry to post on the forum.. Ok I dont touch goats - its the software word censor kicking in (I hope) I need to text or type with Andy Wrx ! Not touch base or summit - that would be kinda sordid :-)
  5. ?- Gav Is it the 3 litre deisel non turbo your on about ? When you mention PPP has it been improved by prodrive or balk standard for that price ? Have to admit in white, the new WRX is - well - actually a'right looks wise. I suppose its just the getting to the new market look that doesn't really impress me. However , at Ian Grieves today, me and Fab-1 saw the new legacy outback Hawkeye estate. That car rocks. I can now understand why Gus the Bus chose a leggy for his next project. Honestly though, we've got the old bus fron Gus and what a WRX in sheeps clothing. It's an extreme laugh at the lights when your typical 'back to front hat brigade' Nova driver pulls up wi' all his mates' wanting a pint and a fight just off the green light. Fab-1 melted an 'older' 535 BMW the day. (safely I must add). Happy motoring folks !

  11. Thats it.. it's that easy. Ps. you need the latest Braun LiPo battery packed hairdryer to alleviate running an extension out to the car ! But it does the job .... Make sure your credit card is in debt though... Whats the point in using a valid one !
