I'll put this into two categories Cat 1 :Garage/Engine Tuners ect Cat 2:Joe Public Cat 1 : Garage/Engine Tuners ect 1. Cat 2: Joe Public 1. Braveheart Classic 2.35 641bhp 600 lbs/ft.

  14. Not good the second fatality I've heard this week with RTC. One was someone I knew personally sympathy goes out to all the family's God speed..to a fellow ex soldier strength and hounour. You will never be forgotten.
  15. Well Callum thank's for posting this, and to be honest I knew nothing about what happened to the Banana, probably cause I have been more interested in my 2 wheels and off the scene, so thanks for filling the void, as for Grant that's a true gentleman and a great friend if you ask me. All in all it is only a car and no lives were lost and that's the way I see it you both are hear to tell the story. I understand Grants pain when this happened and you have been in a situation when your pride and joy was destroyed. I would be deeply upset if i knew someone was reveled in someones misfortune. However there will be spirited banter and I'm sure it comes with the territory I'll not be giving you a shot of mines lol.. Thanks for sharing mate. Big CHRIS
  16. I've had both the 2.5, was a brand new block everything forged and to be honest it did not make a difference I was lifting heads and blowing gaskets on a number occasion and wasn't running that silly boost it became costly. The semi closed deck block cannot take alot of boost and my opinion is unreliable over 450bhp. If you have the capital and you want more reliability I would suggest the 2.0 CDB and stroke it or if funds and more accessible then go for a 2.2 block then stroke it to 2.35 what I have done, or 2.33. you have a engine their that's very strong and with larger head studs it can take more than 2.0 bar of boost. My 10p worth...
  17. Very nice Hawk good figures too well done..
  18. Hey yes work has taken over my life for the last year and have been enjoying the 2 wheels lost a bit of interest in the car, so thought it was time to wake her up, just noticed your time 10.44 wow excellent will be hard to beat.. I'll give it a wee try tho.. Yes have missed the banter talking about banter I've driven your car remember and I wouldn't say you drive it just point it in the right direction with all that fancy electronics and put the foot down ha ha Will be good to catch up will text when I'm back
  19. Hi Matt long time not chat my friend very true I admit on the last occasion you did beat my ass hands up, the car was running amazing, I'm now taking mines a few stages forward, the car was not strong enough i.e drive shafts diffs ect for launches gear ration is too short ECU is a bit outdated.. running out of fuel due to side feed injectors. That's just about to change new 6 speed gear box uprated difs and shafts, Top feed fuel rail, injectors have maxed out on the side feed 1100cc now opting to 2000 cc, New ECU, and new Mapper.. I'm sure it will be a new machine once its all set up And the Nos will be on full chat next time on High boost. Which i could not do due to fueling.. So in all I will look forward to another challenge Good to hear for you I'm back home Next month.
  20. LOL not at all Neil meant for the best run time ...
  21. Braveheart& Neil54 against a Skyline GTR 35 in Low boost... http://youtu.be/D94aor-hTbk. Some Points.. 1.Tyres about 23 PSI all round (may not drive the car home) make sure tyres are warm. 2.Do not have a full tank. Take fuel up with you and keep it minimum I might practice what I preach one day. 3.No passengers for your best time, empty all your boot spare wheel ect it all counts. 4.Hold you revs to about 5000-6000 revs and release the clutch remember this is doing more damage to your car than a track day at any 1/4 mile the stress the car goes under is mega. The last 3 events at crail I have broken something so beware.. 5.Enjoy it and A few tips please add there is many more jut a few i recommend watch the lights not the opponent lol
  22. LOL where a wooly face and go to the local post office... ha ha teasing, dedication and lots off saving..
  23. Very Nice Graeme, lets get this finished Steve has more work to do on mine ha ha looking forward to seeing this one go, been a long time waiting and wish all those gremlins an easy fix...
  24. To be honest Baz what that is going on it should do the job even with all that power Simtek for sale with anti launch and anti lag...
