  5. Well heading up on Sunday for another try to get this 10 god loves a trier eh, my mate Matt heading up i'n his datsun GTR 35 and holds the fastest skyline time so will be a good show seeing us head to head the last time we had a blast I beat him, however he has done some tasty mods since then so think this will be close and at the end of the day it's fun and the banter is on the ball if comming up to watch weather dependent please come and say hi I don't bite unless you ask me time to unleash this high boost fastest time this year is 11.02 so ball hair away from the 10 and that was at 1.65 619/485 Now I will be running 1.95 641/600 so no excuses now and chat about this high boost lol if that fails need to use a bit of Nos to spool the turbo will try a few runs without. Weather is not on our side at the moment forecast for Rain however Scottish weather may change Who's heading up ??
  6. PSML need to work out cost November will not be a goer for me im affaid to soon spent to much on WL the last 3 months hense the reason SW in on his 5th holiday lol
  7. Yes the car does what it says on the tin indeed well shame about the driver he he there still more left in the tank lol bigger injectors and another 75bhp of Nos to be used..or maby Race fuel Looking forward to trying the NOS on my launch, weighed the car the other day and was 1190 so could do with losing a few more pounds somewhere..
  8. Why you got 6 pots then Try and stop 640BHP on the hairpin at Knockhill . I have compbrakes on mines and also on the rear 05 sti modified to fit by SW. Also fitted a brake stopper seems to do the JOB however would maby change my pads as when giving it beans they do warm up a bit quickly..
  9. Thanks for the kind comments lads appreciated very much, would need to find dates Chris for the ring that would be amazing experience, my ears are still ringing from yesterday lol let me you your thoughts when you were thinking of going ?? And could open a new post the more the merrior. Cheers for the pics Chris your car was looking good with your new wheels on ;-)
  10. Cheers Jac and Arch just glad the gremlins have gone fingers crossed they stay away lol
  11. Erm well took it easy on the way home and it accidently wheel spun in 4th Gear just feels so fresh and responsive, there is no need for NOS at the moment untill im use to the power again the NOS will be used to spin the Turbo. Andys cleverly mapped it in through the ECU Chris
  12. Yes the car totally just want to keep pulling Alastair, its mental to drive looking forward to unleashing it in Anger the Mr Forrest does know his onions...
  13. Hi Arch yes looking into this now i am lucky i dont touch tools so the car can be prepared for me with SW so im lucky that way and im not the best with a spanner i'll leave that to the proffesionals, wish i could do it likes of you would save me a fortune, need to find out what my rotation will be next year to see if its worth doing, also considering T/A..the boys would love it
  14. Yes mate chuffed was pissing me off not being able to give full chat bigger injectors a:rolleyes: lol
  15. Cheers Rich will be at the next Crail for a 10 hopefully and Track day to unleash its new power..
  16. As the title says a many thanks to the two of the above mentioned as you are aware i was booked with Andy F for a new map at Hypertech today and all I can say is WOW..also cheers for MikeyB for comming down for support and soundie turned up to take a few pics. I have had a few issues with the car recently and no decent luck, well today it all changed, was very worried about the missfire happening again not knowing if it was corrected untill this afternoon.Hoping that we had solved the problem, was on the dog and bone to a few people and others PM'd me to help me out Arch, Steven Darley..and a special thanks to Stevie whitson and the barry the fabricator.. it was all worth the wait..I believe the the problems were the plugs and defo needed a 2nd pump now have maxed out the injectors lol 1100cc need bigger ones lol as there is still more in the turbo..thanks to the Billet 35R I have attach both Graphs to show the diffrence in the car..it has totally tranformed My mapping session with Extreme in whitburn was showing it missfire and running lean at 6900rpm so hence the reason it was running the lower boost and lower tourque.. Now the hypertech graph car is running now at 1.95 Bar smooth ball hair off 600tourque/641 bhp.. without NOS.. So 10 secs here we come if not Andy F is on standby he he
  17. Well today's the day, for my wee trip down to Hypertech and a new mapping session with Mr Forrest, the good news I'll be accompanied by MikeyB, a few things to sort fill my jerry can of methanol fill the tank that reminds me the pump for the drum oh and buy Mikey lunch lol all i'n all an expensive day today but hopefully it will be worth it if all goes well the car will be a totally diffrent car. I said before I will have 2 maps 1/4 mile & track. Fingers crossed I need some luck. Once happy with the Dyno then off for a wee blast to confirm Andys results.. If Anyones free pop down if you fanncy a chinwag I think his top figure on his webpage is about to change for the rolling road. :-)

  20. Scott, I feel for you mate, to be so close yet so far after the last round, I'm sure your sence of humour failed that day, but all and all you had a great T/A well done to all who entered and also who took podium, onwards and upwards to next year I wish you all the best i'n what plans you have great read thanks for sharing this... Cheers Chris
  21. Hi and Welcome, get some pics up of the scooby also check the events section and get your self along to meet. Happy driving ...
  22. Hi and Welcome the car looks sweet enough why did you not go for the turbo model if there was a reason !! Just curious ?? My mate has the SRI and it's a bit quicker than than the non turbo suby ??
  23. TBH with modding I would start with hadeling and brakes , then move onto mabybexhaust and engine mods you will notice a huge diffrent with breaking and a proper geometry set up again all depends on what the car will be used for track daily driver ect..just my experience on what you should start with as I have a slightly modded Suby .. As you said if the missus is driving It think she would benefit from better brakes and geometry, but once you start modding it will bite again, I am a mature man and have 2 kids still love the thrill of some fun however my car is not my daily driver. All the best there will be a few folk here to point you i'n the right direction welcome and get some pics up.. Cheers Chris
