Hi does anyone know of any friendly MOT test stations around Berks. Usual story have decat exhaust - the guy at my usual place is of on holiday aaarrghh! all advice and help will be much appreicated.

Been there done that, I wake my neighbourhood up at 6.30am until one day one complained to me to I drive the car up the road sit there until warmed up. You can drive your car cold provided you dont boost/take it over 2k rpm

Hi all, I am in a real spot of bother where I live there is a pedestian path I need to drive along in order to park my car outside my house, however the council are saying that pipes are not deep enough and driving along can cause damage. So 5 years ago they erected a bollard to prevent this but wsa shortly removed after us complaining about how would emergency services get to us if they are blocked. Now they have done the same thing again by receting bollards we have used the excuse about emergency services but they have erected an unlockable bollard, is there anyway we can remove these legally i.e. by fighting them or even illegally by damaging them ? all advice much appreciated

Hi All, firstly happy new year to everyone at the SIDC including all fellow scooby drivers. I have decided to invest in a decent speed camera and laser detector to prevent my current 6 points creeping up. Anyhow I have a Nokia N73 and need to get the TomTom version6 software onto it or the navicore. Daoes anyone know where I can download this from ? I am aware I need a gps reciever etc and all is in hand I need to get hold of the software asap as I dont want to spend too much on a proper satnav after spending out on a detector. thanks in advance

Guys anf gals, my car is of to extreme scoobies this weekend for 60k service and to have a new front mount fitted along with a remap by Pat on monday. Should see a considerable power increase after as my other mods will be mapped as well ( full decat, equal headers, apexi etc) Anyhow I was doing some research into the whiteline products, the anti lift kit sounds like a good idea so will get that. Ideally I want it by friday (1st dec) any ideas where i can get this from ? also the whiteline anti roll bars and drop links, are they worth getting bareing in mind mine is an STi 1999 ? I have been told they have quite stiff and solid roll bars anyway. If so I would ideally want them by friday so I cna get all the work done in one go. all views much appreciated.

get an sti type R/RA they fly mate however test driving them first is sensible get a good feel.
