  1. I don't even give them the time of day at the lights... and if I'm moving I never come across them strange
  2. Enjoy your run if you do go 5t and remember to take some pics. I'm working and my car is half stripped so wont be out to play
  3. Through breakdown or mod bug???
  4. I'd personally go for the newage STi top mount, it'll handle the power your after and it'll still have a relatively standard look to the engine bay. Dont know cost difference, I suppose that may swing your decision too. Rich
  5. Especially since her praying mary ornament is on the bedside cabinet
  6. BAAAAA BAAAAA
  7. Good vids and pics Interesting times and will be good to see how the scoob compares to the skyline after some suspension & brake upgrades. Rich
  8. I'm going for a weld in (preferably an FIA approved) cage, just havnt decided who to buy from or who to fit it yet. I'll be leaving the engine as it is just now, but I'll have to do something with the oil sump. Cheers Rich
  9. Do you not have the subaru jack in the left hand side of the boot?
  10. Can you jack the car up and have a look underneath? Strange how it was fine before you parked it unless something has just failed all of a sudden. Rich
  11. And I have both BMW will never put a smile on my face the same way that the scooby does and it'll never sound as good. Beemer for pimp cruising and motorway touring but scooby for a hell of an adrenaline rush Rich
  12. Welcome to Scotland and the scottish scoobies There are lots of meets in the central area and our national race track is not too far north of Edinburgh so I'm sure you will be heading up there for a look, many events take place there and lots of our members attend. Thats a nice scoob you have, coupe's are the best out there. Rich
  13. Poorboys wheel sealant, a good layer of wax type stuff and it makes it a lot easier to clean the grime off the alloys, also protects the laquer. I will be stripping the car as much as possible to get the weight down as much as i can. Rollcage and buckets will come when funds will allow Rich
  14. Hello folks, I had my car for sale but due to a random fault & not getting offered enough £££ for the car, I have ended up keeping it and it is now my wee project. I aim to compete in this car, possible doing a round of time attack and plenty track days to build on my confidence and driving skills. This project may take some time but I will do my best to have it ready for next year. I'll update this when I have made any progress. Here's a few pics of the car this week... I started removing the sound deadening and so far I have removed it from the rear seat area and a bit from the boot. Its a **** of a job but i'll just keep at it when I get the chance. Forgot to take a pic of that progress though. I also found what I think is a tracker, I knew one was fitted but couldnt believe the size of it!?! How the hell can theifs not find this... Here are my oz lightweight alloys that some nice R888's will be keeping warm... Cheers Rich
  15. would or could?
  16. who cleaned it then?
  17. Nice figures, very similar to mine. I havnt been RR'd since the last tweak though but will be around the 360+ i'd imagine Not sure about the misfire though Rich
  18. Jesus, what a waste of a day, I also think the garage is out of line. What was the noise? I have loads of receipts over the years for rear wheel bearings so it may have been one of them. Type R's have the larger size 70mm wheel bearings rather than the normal 65mm. Only other thing at the back is the diff Keep looking mate, one will pop up, don't give up Rich
  19. All the best Neil You should continue to frequent this forum and share your top quality pics with us Rich
  20. Thats not so good min, but sounds like they are the worst car theifs ever if they make that much noise. I bet its the local neds though, is your dog big?
  21. If your mate still wanted to be your mate then he'd be very apologetic and offer to pay you X amount of thousands even if it required him to get a loan to do so. That way insurance can go swivvel
  22. Aye its the torque. My torque doesnt match the bhp with the 20G so I guess its all in the mapping
