Does anyone know of anywhere that does Vinyl Wrapping on cars after a bit of carbon doing preferably in the Aberdeen/Inverness area buit if not there then anywhere in Scotland will do?

Wonder if they've had thier fingers snipped off yet. My car is on the list of attempteds there!

I recently bought a type r with knackered bottom end from a friend which is still sat at his house as I've been away. I get back today an recieved a call from him telling me someone attempted to steal it last night. I've still not seen it but apparently they tried to hot wire it but he had disconnected the battery to stop it draining until i came to collect it although with the state of the engine even if they got it started it wouldn't have gone anywhere (so if any of you on here might be one of those scabby little minks then it won't be worth your time trying to take that car from there again its a non runner) When the police came to take statements forensics etc they informed him that it was the 11th Impreza theft in Aberdeen this month, I don't know if this is true or not but just wanted to let you all know on here to maybe take a little bit extra care incase there is a gang or someone specifically targeting scoobies. Hopefully someone catches them before anyone else becomes a victim.

Cheers for the replies so far. Yeah I know Dave at Bitz he's always worked on my cars an I've never had any problems with what he has done. I might give him a shout an see what he thinks. I was more hoping for a few suggestions of somewhere that might do a wee package for me while they're doing that repair may as well have other stuff done kill 2 birds with one stone. Had a very brief look as don't have much internet access an thought myabe get a 2.5 conversion done or go for a 2.1 stroker kit from scooby clinic? Will i need to just keep throwing money at it once i do this to get everything else in line with it or will it maybe just be the odd bit here an there to change an have it running sweet? Also does SW have a website had a quick look but to no avail? Andy Forrest recommended i try them as well

After a long period of being with out a subaru I bit the bullet yesterday an decided to purchase an engine damaged MY98 Type R. Problem is the current owner believes the bottom end is knackered so my question to you all firstly is, where do I take it to have it repaired? The car is in Aberdeen so I was thinking of maybe somewhere near by there but not essential. Secondly anyone got a rough idea how much the repair might cost? I know I obviously can't expect an exact price until the extent of the damage has been identified. Thirdly anyone got some reccomendations of what might be best to have done whilst this repair is done to give it a bit more power? I'm looking for a nice reliable 330-350bhp an at present trying to operate on a budget of 3k but I know this will no doubt get eaten up fast. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Ally

Does anyone have an ecu from an early WRX i could plug in and check for any fault codes? i have a MY93 WRX and the ecu doesnt seem to be standard also got a prob with the car so trying to see if i can find a fault code. Im located in Nairn and can travel but not too far if anyone can help me out?

Anyone know where i can download a pdf wiring diagram for an my93 wrx? im trying to see which which wire to connect the afr gauge to where it goes into the ecu.

Yes you get shell V power which is rated at 100 ron over in europe ive been living in germany but im pretty sure its available throughout the rest of europe bar the uk which appears to be getting it.

Im gona buy an Apexi Power Fc an it says they're basicaly plug an play i just wana know if anyones just stuck it in an driven without it being mapped an did it run alright? or am i best to wait until i can get it mapped before i fit it?

I know a guy in cawdor who owns Bitz garage i think he has gems ecus on the scooby rally cars hes got pretty sure he tunes them himself i can find out if you like.

Try the hair dryer bit to get as much off as possible then see if you can get hold of some stuff called HG Sticker Remover made by a company called Hagesan i got it from a local hardware shop its amazing stuff!
