Lovely car mate well done Bug wasnt too shabby either
-
Very nice Paul. Its got attitude now!
-
Ok mate, thanks for that, same as my old 'cabled' version then lol
Just don't go mad with it as it is mega sore on your drivetrain and clutch - great fun though!
Cheers Barry, It'll be a high days and holidays job I think lol
-
Kevan, this being a 'fly by wire' throttle, how does the launch control work?
Barry, I cant pretend to really know how it works as such but.....
With the car in first with clutch dipped, if i floor it, the revs are
limited to 4.5k and "bounce" off that till I dump the clutch.
Again Ive only had a go a couple of times today as I've a few changes to "learn"
over the next few days

good figures and some fun toys Kevan i expect a launch control demo at the fling, only 7 weeks to go!
A demo it is Dave 7 Weeks? Can't wait!
-
To be fair Dougie I got it for a bit of a laugh as I wont be heading to Crail any time soon lol. It' more to entertain than anything else tho it does seem to work.
-
Thanks Paul look forward too it.
Yes Bobby all bolted on and working fab!
No fling this year Bob?
-
Good one mate just got mine done there last month what a difference it makes, whats the downshift throttle blip about ive not about that before.
Hi Dougie,
to be honest I'd not heard of it either.
Andy refered to it as Racerom Programming. If I downshift while braking, anything above 2.5k i get an auto throttle blip. Also now if I have my right foot planted I dont need to lift off to change gear on the way up but that is bloody surreal!
Cheers Kevan
-
Modest figures compared to many here but they're makin me smile.
Went to see Andy this am and Hawkeye wrx now 283bhp and 361 torques
Also now have Launch control, downshift throttle blip whilst braking.
Roll on the "FLING"
Cheers
