Have to say that to some extent I agree with them... I've seen some with 2 many 'bolts' to make them readable and some that just look plain stupid with some great big scroll script ..... but having had a 3/4 size plate on the front of both scoobs (3years) with standard lettering pleased that I didnt have a problem with the law. Even when one copper looked at it parked up he didnt seem to notice..... maybe because it was standard font and he didnt twig it was small? Think you can get away with the front as the're always seeing it in the opposite direction..... never never change the rear one cos its right in their noses when they follow you... you then become a prime candidate for a tug and that just opens the can of worms!!

Well scoobs sold & gone thanks to Welches...........dont mean that in a bad way, they've been a great dealership and extremely helpful in all aspects of my Impreza ownership, top marks on all counts. My last STi was probobly the best driving car I have owned and I dearly miss it just hope its new owner feels the same. My needs have changed for next year so the big 4x4 has replaced it, but Kevin, I'll join the que when Jim decides to shift the RB 320!! Anyway I have a couple of bits left over for sale HERE if anyones interested. As long as you dont mind me turning up in someting other than Subaru I'll try to make a few gatherings at the Plough during the year.
