Good day, throughly enjoyed it even tho' it was a bit slippy for my wee Golf. Got gubbed by Marty[] but I'm sure he's too much of a gentleman to mention this [] Best was 14.000 @ 105.9mph

Golf weighs 1040kg with half tank of fuel (had it on a weighbridge) which equates to 260bhp/tonne. Surprised the last pax lap didn't put you off []

Was this the red Golf?? if so then that little thing was going like stink today! Good to watch Yep. I was driving the red one and Gordon was driving the blue one. Both running 1.8T engines tuned to 270 brake.

Another great event! First wet event in that Golf and I was pleasantly surprised. Bit of wheelspin up the main straight (in 3rd and 4th) but otherwise ok. Here's my vids. Unfortunately there's not many Subarus in them. By the time I got out with some my camcorder battery had gone flat. Considering it was all 1st and 2nd gear driving and wheelspin is an issue for the Golf in these gears, I didn't do too badly[H]
