  1. i went for blue. not got round to doing the lettering though
  2. i have replaced the backbox and centre section and fitted a decat pipe already so dont really want to have to replace them again.
  3. dont want the hassle of having to change the dwonpipe for mot etc. there is little difference from what i have read in terms of power with the sportcat. i might be worn in that.
  4. I am starting to save money for getting my car remapped next year once the warranty is up. Am thnking about getting a scoobyworld ninja sport cat downpipe and then that should be all the mods i want to do before the remap. What do i need to buy for the remap and what do i need to do to the car? Running a standard WRX 03 blobeye. need to make sure i have saved enough money and got all the right bits before i set off to see the master Andy F.
  5. thanks for the advice Stephen. my car is booked in for a service on friday so will find out the situation with the brakes and will then decide on what to do. I don't plan to really increase the bhp too much so standard set up may do with better pads and discs and the braided hoses. can you recommend a nice set of discs? drilled or grooved or neither?
  6. Peter, I will donate a bottle of whisky if that is ok. A nice malt should do the trick. Am hoping to pop over fore dinner again soon so can drop it of then.
  7. Am thinking about either new pads and discs or maybe a conversion?
  8. Gus, next on my list i think is either defis or upgraded brakes. Do you know anyone that can deals in either. Brake wise i am not sure what i want to do all i know is that i want to make them better but not spend loads of money e.g. £1k. any suggestions on either?
  9. Remap is on the cards for next year when the warranty is up. Will get a new fuel pump, injectors and a scoobyworld sportcat downpipe then a remap. Was thinking about the brakes as my next port of call. Just not sure what to do with them.
  10. Hows the car Peter? You have a stunning machine there. gives me an idea on what the potential is for my car.
  11. Gus, What other scooby mods do you sell? You seem to be the man in the know for alot of stuff.
  12. Lot of money though for Defis. Still struglging to talk myself into spending that kind of cash on them. Autogauges do full set for half the price of defis and they look so similar but i guess the arguement is still there that they are not defis.
  13. Was at hypertec yesterday getting geometry done and was talking to Duncan about whatd mods to do next. He mentioned removing the resonator box. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
  14. lol nah no longer got a mortgage to pay for a while was thinking about a dump valve but not too sure. Like the noise but not sure what one to get. Also need to know if i need to change oil more frequently. Do they make the car run lean etc.
  15. Now i have the car sitting nice, sounding good with the exhaust mods and looking better from behind with the new spoiler i am ready to move on to my next modification. I can't do anything performance wise due to still being under warranty so can anyone suggest what i should do next?
  16. After a lot of driving about and investigating i now have no rubbing or knocking noises coming from the eibach springs. A wee twist and a bit of plastic and jobs a good un and theres no noise. Thanks to Spaceman for his generosity and thanks to DRB5 for helping. before After
  17. no drilling necessary they fit existing boot holes. Think the company is based in england. Cost me £20 for delivery to scotand
  18. Pics of the car lowered and with new rear accessory.
  19. John, I was going to get one from the stealers but a few folk on here recommended DR Motorsport and also Gus The Bus for replica spoilers. DR Motorsport were doing it for £320 painted and delivered.
  20. Spoiler arrived the other day and was perfect. Would recommend DR Motorsport spoilers to anyone. Quality and level of service was outstanding. Thanks also to DRB5 for fitting. Pics will be posted soon.
  21. if all goes pear shaped and can't get the noise to go i have found these TEIN SUSPENSION - Driving Master Basic Damper Coilover Kit for £535 all in. Anyone got these babies fitted to their blobeyes?
