  1. You going to make journey again and head through tomorrow?
  2. No worries. I'll remember my crash helmet and fire proof overalls! LOL
  3. Was there many folk there. Went about 11.40am and there was no one else there. Was a bit disapointed.
  4. Wasn't you then mate. No decals on this one. Were you heading up to Ian Grieves by any chance. Met up briefly with ed-209 there with his decalled Impreza.
  5. I'd feel more comfortable with her behind the wheel of her car than behind the wheel of mine, although for the 15 or so miles she was behind the wheel of mine I was at total ease, except when the speedo was reaching 120mph, but it wasn't for a prolonged period of time so all is well. Honestly say I was impressed with her car control skills.
  6. Did I pass you going over the blue bridge just up by the new Asda warehouse. Was about 12.05pm?
  7. waving to other Impreza drivers unless you can clearly see a SIDC tax disc holder. Passed 3 Imprezas this morning, all Turbos and not a single wave! Felt like a right numpty. Anyone else feel the same?
  8. May I say, thanks for your kind words. I don't scare that easy but you did have me gripping the seat quite tightly on a few occastions. Respect!
  9. Happy Birthday Dude.
  10. I'll try and arrange something really soon. Posted a convoy thread for Falkirk members on the central meet thread. I'll see what response that gets and make arrangements based on that.
  11. Anyone from Falkirk up for this. Got a couple of members interested. Will start a list in the Central Meet thread.
  12. Yeah, thats the very bit of road. See they've put up 30 signs along there now. Bit disapointing, but safer for those that live there. That sounds like a good wee run, but I wouldn't get my brakes warmed up on such a small jaunt. Fancy the run that I've described earlier in this thread sometime?
  13. Glad there's other that appreciate these roads. I'll certainly be in touch about a wee run. Perhaps get a few numbers and locals interested. But have to be early hours to be safe. Although that doesn't stop the cattle being on the roads. Was faced one morning with some Impreza loving highland cows. Think I woke them up. http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i203/Sha...ll/STA60001.jpg Moooooooo
  14. The Misses has her heart set on an Aston Martin DB9 and a TVR (any kind). Like a DB4 myself. Namesh Bond, Jamesh Bond!!
  15. Sorry to hear that Gus, heart goes out to you and your family. Shaun. []
  16. You probably have the wiring behind there for the CIGAR (love it when on the odd occasion I get something right) lighter already, In which case you're laughing. Test for the positive, making sure it goes on and off with the ignition, fit the 3amp in line fuse, fit the earth, and bobs your mothers brother. The hard part will be routing the wires out the way.
  17. In that case you could probably use the ignition wire that goes to the head unit for your power supply (but I would prefer not to do this as this is a small current and may not be up to the job of powering the Road Angel and could melt the wire (edited)) to the road angel. Or use the constant supply to the head unit and fit a seperate switch. What does the fitting instructions recommend?
  18. Welcome m8ey.
  19. Does the angel have a constant power supply and also a remote supply to tell it to switch on? If so then you could bridge into the positive supply to the headunit and also the ignition wire.
  20. Or this way, as the cigarette lighter (or is it a cigar lighter now? I think they changed the terminology to be a bit more manly, anyway) will only be live when the ignition's on.
  21. NO!!!!!!!!!!!! It'll need to be wired into the fusebox to only come on when the ignitions on, otherwise you'll flatten you battery or even risk an electrical fire.
  22. Just make sure you're wearing rubber soled shoes. LOL
  23. No wonder you're having trouble with that road angel if your half cut and it's dark. LOL. If your still stuck by the weekend, I'll have a wee gander at it.
  24. Wasn't me. There's another P1 owner that lives not far from there.
