the rex rocket

the rex rocket roared into kirky tonight to give me a hand drain and replace the coolant in my car.

afterwards it was time to get the rocket ready for crail on sunday.

first up came the c02 fire extinguisher,some mental 210 bar hose,fittings and a 16" eh bar.

what the**** are we going to do wi this i thought but he had a cunning plan.

first we fitted the bar to the front mount,then rigged the hose from the bar in through the bulkhead

to the glove box,and then onto the fire extinguisher.the results are

 

 

 

 

 

i think the rex rocket will put in some good times especially now that its had a methanol

hit and a good dose of c02.

How did you get on with your car jac, with you putting coolant in , i take it that it is sorted

ok so im not completely sane but every little helps at crail.lol

not expecting miracles with the c02 but it will drop the intercooler temps down

a bit just before take off.certainly didnt do jc scoobs? car any harm when he was using it.

mark-yes i did get a bit of a fright on sun on the way home and im sure you had a right good

laugh watching it.(i know i would)

stephen-i wont be using it on the way down the strip, just before the line.dont want it getting sucked into

the cai.

dipsy-yes it is similar in the fact that the bar is from cryo2 but the rest was just sourced from here and there.

yea mark put fresh coolant in etc and car is fine.

jim told me about his bit of tail out at the roundabout and it looks like his rear shocks are gubbed.its going into the stealers on monday

for replacements under warranty
