Kwikfit lifetime offer on brakes

Has anyone seen this? Get your brakes changed at Kwikfit, and they will replace them free during the time you own the car.

Subject to terms and conditions, does anyone know what these are? Also what make of pads?

I doubt they'd be up for fast road use, more for your joe bloggs family wagon.

Besides, something tells me every time you go back to get them replaced they'd find you need some new discs, exhaust, tyres or some other bullsh!t.

If they did Ferrodo DS2500's i'd consider it. (as long as I could watch and check they were doing it right).

Lol they use the cheapest stuff you can get beleive me m8 as i used to work for kwik-fit(5 long years) Wouldn't trust them we a reliant robin and defo not a scoob[:@]

oh dear kwik fit!, i know a guy who went in to the glenrothes branch for a wheel alignment, only to be told, go f*ck off mate, i cant be botherd!!!!!

glenrothes branch, hmmm. My old man used to own a Lotus he went to Kwik Botch at Glenrothes for 4 new tyres, got home and the front 2 were flat, cowboys.

Yip, sounds about right. Wouldn't trust them with a dud match.

They use the cheapest of cheap after market parts.You will probably find that it is aimed at auld grannies etc who have very little chance of wearing out pads.Would you really want a spotty faced yoof working on your car and fitting snide parts?

Completely agree.  My sister had a nasty experience a few years back when the job they had suppose to have done, was in fact not.

Resulted in manager and mechanic loosing there jobs, so I would never take my car to them on that experience.

i had a bad experience with them when I took the Justy in for a new backbox. 

They ordered the wrong part, told me that I needed the whole exhaust system changed as they believed it was on the verge of falling off and pretty much made up doom-and-gloom stories so I would buy more stuff from them [8o|]
