gambler Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Heading up to hot marques on sunday. Need to be there about 12-30 ish. Was just wondering if the road works are causing big delays on the forth road bridge. Would i be better to take the kincardine bridge? Heading up from Dumfries. Usually take the devils beeftub road from Moffat to Edinburgh (fun fun fun) then over the bridge Advice from anyone in the know would be greatly appreciated. Scott
col666 Posted April 21, 2007 Posted April 21, 2007 Wouldnt think it will be that bad on a sunday morning. I crossed it a couple of times on wed afternoon and never got held up. I have a plane to catch at 10am on tuesday morning in Edinburgh so that will be fun coming down from perth, took me over 1hr to do 3 miles last time I crossed in the morning:(
C J K Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 The works are only on over the w/end Col,it is pretty slow going,I went over about 5pm Saturday ,cost me a good half hour.

oobster Posted April 22, 2007 Posted April 22, 2007 Probably best to steer clear of the FRB just now anyway, it's bound to honking of sh*te round that way. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edinbu...ast/6580253.stm
