some good points made john,as for the gubbed piston and gearbox,well theres plenty of

classics with that too.

everyone buys what they like/can afford and at the end of the day there all subarus.drive and enjoy!

Before making assumptions, read up on Homoligation rules etc.

Agreed on the last point though.

I currently have three 'classics' (stupid term, they're just old, not classics), and I'm building a 4rth, now, why would I want to do that if I thought a Bugly would serve me better ?

All the top cars in the country are based on the older chassis for a reason !!

How many WRC championships have Subaru won in a Bugeye ? :D Big Fat Zero :)

I think you'll find Richard Burns as a driver won a World championship, Peugeot won the manufacurers championship that year :P

LOL! Yours is modded though, so yours doesn't really count (do you have a full dcat?). Having said that, I kept you behind me on the track. though going by your other post it would seem that you were losing boost pressure. Any more excuses? Haha! :icon_butt:

Genuine question as I never made it today, was there any newages competing in Time Attack?

Yes at least one that i can remember, it was a white blob eye and also another one that may have been a hawkeye ( dynamix from scoobynet i think )
