martin_allen Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Looking at that you need a tyre too. Bad luck chap! 5t.
thewelsho Posted April 5, 2007 Author Posted April 5, 2007 Yeah. I took it into the tyre-fitter and he said it should be ok that it was only the kerb thingy bit that has come away. Then he made fun of me for driving about on Khumo tyres. I think he just wanted to off-load a whole new set of quality tyres to me. Forget it!
RA Dunk Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 not so good to hear m8, hope you get it sorted soon at a reasonable price []
Alan-G Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 Nasty little effer and easily done. Nae luck John. Taken a wee chunk oot the tyre too. Personally I'd scrap the tyre, (with havin the wife and the wean in the motor - I am biased) Dont think the alloy will fix to be pretty but it looks still like a runner. Best as always.
kinghorn Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 seen alot worse than taht get fixed, not sure on places in glasgow, but there must be one, just make sure they have a good rep for colour matching, bcause it can be a bit of a problem with alot of places.

micra_wrc Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 yup Chameleon did a brill job in refurbing my alloys. They look good as new and now that I've waxed them before putting them back on the car, its dead easy to wash the brake dust off. phone no is 0141 885 1714 - clicky for GMacs post never tried their dent repair service but if its as good as fixing a buckled alloy and refurbing 4 gold alloys, thats the place to go []
thewelsho Posted April 6, 2007 Author Posted April 6, 2007 Marty, Imy... Thank you! I might actually get them all done, let's see what the missus says. Thanks for all other commets too, wasn't so much my bad luck, jsut my stupidity. John
