boris b Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I'd have thot u could get it welded mate. Is it safe to drive with it in that state ??
dipsy Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Your to far away for me to do it.I would use Tig welding for this plus the alloy would need powdercoating after because the heat will the burn the powdercoating away plus tidying the weld up with a grinder .My welding is hell of alot better than my grammar
Auldy Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Last yr i hit a pot hole while cruisin about town, which split my rim. took it to auto image n they jus welded it up n powder coated it to original color and its as gd as new. had no probs with it since plus only cost fraction of what a new wheel would to replace [H]
cusco kid Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 dont chuck it away i req it for a wheel table geo

wagonwheels Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Perth Powder Coating ; 01738583270, mob .07850885498 ask for brian. He will weld it without having to paint wheel if its on the inside edge and is very reasonable,I had 17" with two cracks in the one wheel .
