tint shops in cambs/ely area **help ASAP**

got nabbed by the pigs for my tint on the front 2 windows and the windshield... need a tint place to take it off

the filth wrote me a prohibition notice and i have to drive with my windows down until the scum bag inspects it again

any help would be great.

Hi

Option 1. heat the tint with a hairdryer to soften the 'glue' and peel gently. You may need to scrape the residue, if you do use a razor blade but only go bottom to top, or vice versa, do not go side to side!

Option 2. Phone Justin on 07803 238078. If he can't get to you ask him for Wren's number, he does a lot of work on the bases [H]

Option 3. wait until our next meet, have one of Rob's recommended vindaloo's, then your breath will melt it off []

wish i wouls have seen that last reply sooner... got it taken off at a place called CAR2TINT up north somewhere

 

but you say they tint as well?

 i may call them up real soon because i need it re done, i hate driving around a fishbowl, what is the legal limit on tint here in this country.

legally you can tint as dark as you want on the rear doors and rear screen, but you cannot legally tint either the front doors or the front screen although you may get away with a modest sun strip.

yea that is what the old bill said as well.i had the 2 fronts and 1/5 of the top of the windshield limo as well as the backs but now just my back 3 are limo black.

Hi all,when i got pulled for my front winndow tints old bill told me fronts could be up to 30% tint (mine was 76%) .Removed the tint myself,and had a MOT garage confirm i had removed the tints (cost £1.00).Then had to take all the paper work to the local nick.So is it no tint or 30% tint??

To be definately legal, it's no tint on the front at all []

The standard tinted glass could be 20% already so even the lightest of films can take you over the 30%.
