l359638 Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Hi, Could some kind soul tell me what do you get with PPP and would I be better off with are-map and de-cat. I have a bugeye wrx with prodrive backbox.
johns Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 You get a replacement (remapped) ECU, new exhaust, fitting and it's covered by Subaru warranty and accepted by insurance companies. If you are an SIDC member, then you can get all this fully fitted at a Subaru dealer for only £995 inc VAT for a limited period only (there are limited stocks at this price!). John
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 you also get an uprated intecoller hose and a high flow fuel pump ...# An Andy F remap and decat or sports cat would give better results but not so warranty friendly
xraydave Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 The new exhaust replaces one of the cats with a straight through pipe. I may be wrong here but I think you only get the fuel pump on the STI PPP. Dave P.S. I think all the details, including before and after power and torque graphs are available on the Subaru website (or might be Prodrive).
scouk Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Sounds about Right. For the WRX it seems to be Prodrive Backbox, Decat Pipe, Tubo/Intercooler Y-Pipe and mapped ECUhttp://www.performancesubaru.co.uk/product...id=87&cat=5 And for the STi - As above but with Fuel Pump and Sports cat downpipe.http://www.performancesubaru.co.uk/product...id=96&cat=5 I've recently managed to source the WRX PPP bits seperately, apart from the ECU for just under £200 If I can't get an ECU for peanuts over the coming months will probably just go for a remap.
