thewelsho Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I drive with a seat belt at all times, well nearly. The odd time I'm going a couple on hundred metres and can't be bothered buckling up, but I am forced to with that SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!! SQEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!!!! from the seatbelt warning tone. I'm sure I read on here a while back that it can be disconnected from under the driver's seat, but which of the two connections is it? Please help!
colin_ross Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Beware! Most of these switches are connected to the airbag as well as that fooking beeper. Personally, I'd attack the beeper not the wiring.
Alan-G Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I think that Subaru's head of "the most efficient annoying device "department, went to town with this. It really gets on me T**'s. [:@]
chu my pu Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 Its NOT under the seat.... its under the glove compartment.... its one of the 5 connections on a newage, colors vary but one is the beep, one is daytime running lights USDM and the others are engine related. plug and play till you find the right one

thewelsho Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Don't dis-connect it, wear your seatbelt at all times please.Aye, but, moving it across the carpark at work, or out of the driveway to the front of the house doesn't require a seatbelt, and that NOISE!!!

Well if it's a short distance like that i'm sure you can put up with the noise for a matter of 10 seconds. if you dis-connect it and one day forget on a long journey...... well i don't want to really say the rest
