TYRES - Which Brand

The most popular tyre choice seems to be TOYO T1Rs or GOODYEAR GDS3 F1s. Having not tried either I`m looking for comments/opinions from people who have tried both. Size would be 235/40/18 Cheers. []

Just got a set of F1's compared to Potenza's better in the wet and smoother ride but RE070 are better in the dry. Haven't tried Toyo's so can't comment.

The F1 are good road tyres...haven't used the toyo yet and can't comment.

My tyres are due to be changed soon and i will be using paradas also. had them on my clio 172 cup for three years and found them to be excellent in all conditions, unfortunately the wheel& tyre package i bought recently came with 'budget' tyres as thats all i could afford, but as i say they will be changing soon.

Just put Yoko Paradas on my new wheels and the tread pattern certainly looks the business. aint got them on the car yetbut will give them a scratch over the weekend and let you know how they perform.

i use toyo T1R`s think there great for dry and wet conditions

have used both the toyo's and the goodyear

have the toyo's on the can the now on 18" wheels and are good in the dry and wet

also have goodyear F1 on 16" track wheels and used them last november,

if you've seen the picks you'll know how wet it was that day []

Thanks for the replies guys. Seems the Toyos and Goodyears are just as good as each other. Don`t see a Yokohama Parada thats 235/40/18 though. Got to the end of the month to decide. []
