Funny as, opening page our own Phil is the featured car, so Scoobynet promotes SIDC kind, I know its not a them and us situation but I thought it a tad ironic. Go on yersell boss

i like the idea they have with the pic of yer scooby bit, sort of like yer own page to post a pic and bit of info about yer car, i suggested that here months ago on here, overall it looks quite nice really

Miles better than the set-up on here.... and I dont mind admitting that I use that site more than this one partly due to the forum layout and partly due to the fact that they have over 65,500 members, so any questions and requests are answered pretty quickly which appeals to a "want it done yesterday" kind of guy like me. [:P]

Cheers,

TBH, I wouldn't read anything into the 65,500 members. I run a busy forum and less than 2% of my registered members are actually active regularly. Many register, but only lurk so they can take advantage of the cookie thing where read posts are remembered etc and many have registered once as it seemed like a good idea then never or rarely come back. Of those 65,500 members I reckon you'd be lucky to find 700 who were posting with any degree of regularity - and, having seen the quality of posts on SN, I have doubts you'd even want to read most of them. [8-)] I won't argue with you on the forum layout on here though.

Don't blame you for thinking that, but it ain't true.....unless your talking about the Scottish section. [:P]

If you actually spend some time on SNET, you'll find that there are many thousand people posting regularly.

I actually find this rather funny, as some moved away from being "sectioned out" in SNET, but they moved here and when you look at the details, they are sectioned out of the rest of SIDC. [;)]

I look at all subaru websights.

When I first got inolved in all this nonsense SN was the first sight I joined, and where I could tell you about 1.5 roller rockers and David Vizard, minis etc but knew little about subarus or what an intercooler was but SN was and still is a wealth of information.

You can scoff at the "How to hoover your floormats" or "Another dumpvalve question" blurbs, written in pidgeon english. However at onetime I was asking questions like that and found that it was through that sort of stuff you learned about the cars.

Then I discovered SIDC and joined the CLUB. The forums were dicovered and then all the scottish posters on SN revolted because someone was fed up with somebody and it was great to revolt and jump ship.

Then we went back to looking at SN but not posting. I still cannot work out what went on but there you go.

I still read SN, infact Im off to read it now.

Nice home page I think.

Glad that the Forum pages still have the great layout they always had.

I dont see any reason why we cant visit all the Impreza Forums that are available.

Give a little and take a little from all of them.
