i bought grant a pair of Oakleys couple years back and he thinks they are great.

He got the ones where the lens curves round to cover the entire eye -
cuts out light coming in at the side of the shades.... perfect for
driving.

Yup, 4 years old a still going strong

Oakley E-Wires, excellent when the sun is low in the sky and heading south on the M74

got a pair of oakley ewires 10 years ago and theyre still going strong, they only did about 5 styles back then and my choice was based on them being good enough for mr fogarty at the height of his powers [;)] must almost be collectors items by now!

Oakleys for me 2 - had ewire for a while (and still do) but current pair are Romeo 2 - great eye coverage with no frame around the edge - dont realise how much difference that makes until you go back to full frames..

I LOVE sunglasses! Oakley for me too! I have two pairs like those above (Juliets): One pair with silver frames and green lenses the other with darker frames and gold lenses. Also have wires which I don't wear much and Oakley Whys which are the ones that live in the car and wear the most. Gave away my cheapo Ray Ban as they only cost $90 and sold my Pennys and vault on eBay, as I no longer wore them. Been a couple of years since I have bought any new ones... hmmm might have to rectify that soon but at well over £200 a pair I might jsut get Scooby bits instead!

Yup, have to agree the Oakley's are superb, [Y] Although, still the Top Gun ones are never 'dated'.

TK Max if your fast do a great stock of Oakley's just when the summer range comes HUGE discounts.  Bought Alan a pair of Armani's last year they are superb.

I always bought cheap sunglasses and they only ever lasted a couple of months.

Then I got a pair of Ray-Ban's at a discounted price a few years ago and they've been great! Even had them on today, was mighty sunny coming back from Oban at lunchtime!

I have a pair of those too, and they look ridiculous!

I take it you still have them though [;)]

Lying around somewhere. I promised them to my dad ages ago and never got round to giving him them yet.
