Thieving B******s

I wrote this post on Scoobynet and was suggested I post it here as well.

Came out my work today about 1pm a wee early finish and got to my car I thought hold on a minute something don't look right.
It
certainly wasn't some thieving scumbag had stolen my boot
spoiler,ripped the f****r right off the boot left the brake light wire
hanging.
I'm totally gutted and MAD!!
If anyone hears someone in
the Glasgow area trying to flog a Green Mica 99 RB5 style spoiler with
the brake light let me know cause I'm gonna rip the scumbags head off.

 

It was done outside my work in Darnley at Wellbeck Road.

Some twat
in a Black Suzuki Swift was revving the ass off his car at the lights
and wheelspun away I just laughed and blasted past him.

I think it
must have been him and he must have saw me parking my car and decided
if he could'nt beat me he would have revenge another way.

No other cars were damaged at my work and I had parked just out of view of the camera I thought I was covered by that camera.

Ive
had to refit the low level spoiler back on it but Ive fuming everytime
I look at it,this has spoiled my 2 years of pleasure Ive had driving my
pride and joy

cintact the police, you have a make and colour, so im sure they mite be able to find that car on traffic cameras

I'd at least log it with the police too. Will keep an eye on the for sale section in case anything like that pops up.

I seen the post on scoobynet mate , its a poor show. Should contact the police just incase but I doubt they'll actively look for it but you need a crime ref anyway if your going to claim.

 Was it a tidy removal, as in bits of it weren't left on the car? If there wasn't too much damage done there is a good chance they might try and punt it on as it might not just have been a revenge thing by the pleb in the swift.

Was the swift standard or modded as that might give an idea if he is into any local sites/forums that he might try to use to sell it on?

Hi cheers for the replies guys.

It was modded slighty wheels,lights etc it was 3.45am I start at 4 so I was still half asleep when I pulled up to the lights so I never really paided that much attention to detail,just wanted to go back to bed. (wish I had stayed there now)

I was going to phone the cops but had to be up the road to pick my wee one up and didn't fancy waiting about for hours to be told theres probably nothing they can do.

As for claiming my car was just out of shot of the camera and I have just checked my policy which states my car is supposed to be parked in a secure carpark,it was when I took my policy out but I changed jobs recently and never thought to check.

If anyone hears anything I would be grateful and hope this kind of S**T don't happen to anyone else it sucks man.

Hi Kenny

The mounting bolts were still on the car and the wire for the brakelight was still there.

Not too much damage bootlid slightly bent with the force of it being pulled.

Beginning to think it was a good idea NOT pulling sikaflex on it as it would probably made a bigger mess and totaled the bootlid in the process.

Makes me think twice about spending more money customising the car when people with no morals are prepared to do this kind of thing.
