Ok not really wanting to drill any holes so what kind will i go for [:^)]

Dont be "feart" to drill holes - it's a simple job assuming you take your time and read up beforehand

If i can do it then so can you ! I shat myself at the prospect of an oil change so I can assure you it's easily done

Whack some Waxoil over the drilled holes afterwards and your are laughing

Iain as cal said its a doddle i fitted mines outside my house in less than an hour. As mentioned above , read the instructions and make sure you have everything you need in front of you and thats that. A battery drill comes in handy.[Y]

as for the drilling of holes for the mudflaps, im sure i seen somewhere that on the classic imprezas, to take care on the front passanger side as the wiring loom runs by that area, is this right?

Well i did drill holes in the bonnet of my escort for the bonnet pins so i might give this a shot []

You will need to drill one hole for each rear flap and 2 wee holes for the front ones.

I fitted mine in less than an hour with the wheels on, And it was a breeze really, Nothin to be worried about.

Hi Iain,

I fitted a set to mine yesterday. I went for the "Scoobyworld Standard WRC Style Mudflaps (£64.99)", which seem decent enough quality. I am a complete novice at doing stuff to my car (except for topping up the washer bottle []) and it was a piece of cake. I did take the wheels off, which was a good excuse to give them a good clean, and I had to drill 4 small holes at the front, but was very careful in doing so... The brackets fitted perfectly, which was good!

Gus, here is an older pic (pre Tein and 18s) of the flap shortly after fitting. I had a few spare Pirelli stickers so used those instead of the WRX ones that came with the flaps.

Iain i got mine from the same place as Craig and they are great quality.

I also got mine from there, but they have stopped doing the stainless steel brackets! you get black plastic ones!

The flaps themselves look good, will just have to see if they fade (there blue).
