~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Thanks folks - I try to post fair and square Incidentally, I upgraded to IE7 after the forum upgrade ( to see what the fuss was about with the new browser) and now find the forum easier on the eyes now because IE7 seems to adopt some sort of font smoothing like XP does on your desktop icons Cal
dougster Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 "Well forgive me for laughing at a funny post!!" Funny to who? "You ask me to make informative and constructive replies to a post titled New Forum a pile of dooo doo !!!" Yes. Why wouldn't you if the content is relevant? Looks like another one 'in the know' has come out the shadows with his own humorous addition.........eh Steve? Toys at the ready.

phil Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 fatuous FACH-oo-uhs, adjective: 1. Inanely foolish and unintelligent; stupid. 2. Illusory; delusive.
dougster Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Now THAT'S funny. How did you know that one Phil? Now are you going to delete EVERY post I make seeing as you seem to have stripped me of my AVATAR?
dougster Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 How about a link to the new forum that everyone wants to see? Or an e-mail to Willie and Cam? Pathetic. Keep pushing.
the squiggle Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Maybe one day we will arrange a meet for the wee pub across the road from your flat. Then maybe you would come across or at least lift the travel rug from your knee to get a good view of all the cars that turn out for a Glasgow meet or would that interfere with your bridge club on a Thurs. Might be a "Greyed" out Squirrel but i still help arrange runs in the country, recced out my own pocket, and participate in raising a sh1t load of money for the local childrens hospital for the past 3 years, scare the hell out of new members at meets/events by being a loud annoying person but it seems to work as they remember who the 6ft streak of p1ss was, attend a many meets/events as i can and now practice Islam. I stopped being a member cause i had a disagreement with a group of members, this group have now left the forum with the exceptions of a few runts left behind i am now willing to renew my membership on a yearly basis and will do so at the end of Jan. Thanks for your concern, now take the rest of the day off you have earned it This club is going form strength to strength and this is through the dedication and commitment of a few hardcore nutters, members and non-members, that come up with the ideas to push the club forward in a positive exposure. More Northern Lights vicer? Most of the areas in Scotland are showing a healthy attendance at the regional meets with a good social atmosphere and newbies reporting back that they felt welcomed by the other members. The next step is too break down the imaginary glass wall seperating North and South and first step was planned tonight with a mass invasion of Scoobs heading for Alford this year for the National Day and really making it a National Day worthy of the name National Day. Me personally, i am gonna one day doddle my ass north for a meet but it will probably be in the works van as i am tight as fook If you drop your pants and trousers in front of a gay man, the temptation for him to dry ride you becomes too much for him to control

bigbadboab Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Wow, not been on for ages and things have not changed a bit (apart from the new forum setup which is better). Everyone still sniping at each other. Geez, I might come back in a few weeks to see if everyone has grown up any[]
st3ph3n Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Got it in one boab. There's plenty of the old (ir)regulars not posting because they're fed up with the snippy shite. I'll leave you all with one of my favourite quotes from Yamamoto Tsunetomo's Hagakure: It is bad when one thing becomes two. One should not look for anythingelse in the Way of the Samurai. It is the same for anything that iscalled a Way. If one understands things in this manner, he should beable to hear about all ways and be more and more in accord with his own. Welcome to the way of the SIDC.
PECO Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Hey Stephen - in the words of the Ghost Dog - well said, as a relative newbie I have to say this petty nonsence doesn't do anything for the club. A subaru is a great car but it's only a car - theres more to life......................... Happy New Year - LOL!!!!
wilky Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Anyway, watch this its much better. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1...;q=ac+dc+videos

st3ph3n Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Well done Peco, it was a quote as used in ghost dog. I have read the entire hagakure book though and it was very interesting. Don't think anyone got Wilky's film referene though. 8 year olds dude.
