wheelchairscooby Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Just wondered if anybody put their pride and joy away for the winter months
wrxmania Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Mine is in the garage just now in pieces - may put it away for the winter, but only as far as overnight. Leave the other car on the driveway on occasion. Brian []
scientific steve Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 had thought about getting a cheap little run around to do over winter but then thought, why bother buying a 4 wheel drive car based on a rally car and not use it ???? i know that the salt and stuff they shove on the roads aint all that good for it but it just means useing the press wash at work a bit more often [][] oh, and a set of winter tyres
wheelchairscooby Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 good one steve keep the scooby clean for free[]
st3ph3n Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 In the spirit of how things are worded here: You've never lived until you've driven a scooby on nearly semi-slick bridgestones out the side windows in a snow covered car park.
G.Mac Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Quote In the spirit of how things are worded here: You've never lived until you've driven a scooby on nearly semi-slick bridgestones out the side windows in a snow covered car park. I think I remember that quote form somewhere! Graeme
st3ph3n Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I thought I'd made it up, but you never know. Can't wait for the first fall of snow. []
G.Mac Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I thaught it was a squirrel quote after playing in mine with balding 070's last year up in hillington...lol Graeme
Auldy Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 nah dont c the point in garagin her up, we live in scotland so we get rubbish weather all the time [] ano id rather drive ma scooby rather than a wee run about that will get caught out in the crappy road conditions [Y]
st3ph3n Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 It was worded in homage to the squirrel, so it might well have been him. I'll be down for this year's snowy fun.
TheCrow Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 nope, the scoob is for winter! Bikes are for summer [][]
G.Mac Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 [], we have a different carpark lined up for this year!, see you Sat at the other SIDC, with a dyno printout in my hand, Ok getting thread back on topic( sorry[]), I dont see the point of sticking the car away, that was one of the many reasons I got the scoob, to have fun all year round! Graeme
euan_r Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Quote I thought I'd made it up, but you never know. Can't wait for the first fall of snow. [] already had a bit of snow but not lying on the ground as yet.[]
