stevie 4 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 can someone tell me which one of these is right for my classic http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...62014&rd=1&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...29912&rd=1&rd=1
colin_ross Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Dunno Stevie, the first one says its for a GC8, which is a classic, but I don't think it's as straight forward as that. IIRC there are different classic ones. What year and model of car do you have?
drb5 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I can't believe some people!!! The first one is actually an exhaust gas temp from an STi1/2. The second one i'm not sure about, as the connector is not something i've ever seen before. My view, is to get yourself onto API Engines and order a universal lambda through them. You'll need to tell them what age of car it's for, but this is simple to work out how many wires is on your lambda sensor.
stevie 4 Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 its a 93 wrx i would have a look myself to see if any are the same but its not stopped raining all week
drb5 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 It's easy to see Stevie. Looking under the bonnet, on the left hand side cam belt cover, right on the top corner, should be a wee bracket with a sort of yellowy/clear connector. How many wires are on it, is what lambda sensor you need. http://www.apiengines.com/index3.php
