civic type r!!!

The only EP3's that got more BHP and a LSD were the JDM models that were built in Britain, shipped to Jaaaaaypan and then brought back to Britain. [;)]

If its a stock UK Civic Type-R then IIRC it'll have 197bhp and defo wont come with a LSD.

Thats odd, it certainly feels like it has an lsd. I have driven it and when pulling out of tight second gear corners I can feel the diff working away and it seems to work well at getting down the power.

I will have to check that out, but I am pretty used to driving fwd cars with lsd's in them, and this one feels like its got one.

I admire your perseverance Phillip... But I think this forum's been over fished recently, I'd be surprised if you got another bite in this topic. [;)]

"never raced a civic type R, raced an s2000, was all over me like a cheap suit, but no way could have passed me"

What colour was it?  [;)] Might have been me [:)] I’ve had a go with a few scoobies in mine now.  Scooby vs S2000 at Crail absolutely depends on what Scooby we are talking about.  My S2000 runs 13.75 @ 103mph so posts a slower time than my 275bhp MY99 Impreza did but the same trap speed.  I gubbed a few scoobs at crail but equally was gubbed by others.  Passing standard bugeyes halfway up the strip like they were in reverse is not without its merits in the amusement stakes [:D]

Lol, oooops - just realised that this thead was not 1 but 3 pages long and despite a fleeting mention it was CTR - Scoobies the whole way.  My post above is therefore rather off-topic [:#]

Having owned one before the Scoob I can say that I agree with Cal fully. As for standard Scoobs smoking them on the twisties in the dry I would disagree. The car handles gash in the wet as all powerful FWD cars do but in the dry it's a weapon.

I had much more fun in the CTR than I have ever have had in my Scoob. Having said that, when AndyF is finished mapping and I'm pushing on for 350-370bhp it will be a different story[;)]
