Neil, it was car number 80, the red single seater the fith pic from the bottom. It was Stu Robb, and he got 2nd FTD so I hear....(Not bad for the second 'proper' shot of the car!) Cheers

Hi, as title says, where is the best place for new parts? I need a nearside trackrod end as well as a few other bits like power steering pipes and a few belts. Is there anywhere else bar from the dealer, as I was quoted a fairly ridiculous price when I was last there for side repeaters! Thanks

I am 22 and have had my uk turbo for just over a year now - my renewal dropped from £1200 to £900 this year, fully comp which I thought was pretty good.

If it makes you feel any better, some old man reversed into me in the petrol station today! He didnt look in any mirrors and didnt seem to notice 5 blasts on the horn. [8-)] Doesnt seem to be to bad though, just a shattered indicator as far as I can see.

Having to scroll along to see photos is one of the most annoying things ever. Completely ruins the photo imo. Can it not be changed?

Thats really decent of Peter to let others have a little shot, and not surprising the lucky few would want to say thanks, but would it not be better to pm? That way its a bit more personal and perhaps would be even better from Peter's point of view as he wouldnt have people constantly arguing like children over his car. Just a thought!

So just to confirm, this car does have 400bhp??? I wasnt sure, so if someone could let me know, that would be great. FFS, this is one of my first posts and its because reading this every day is getting a bit old hat. I know of people with 650hp and less than half the weight of a subaru, but I dont phone them up every morning to blow sunshine out of their a**e.

Thats odd, it certainly feels like it has an lsd. I have driven it and when pulling out of tight second gear corners I can feel the diff working away and it seems to work well at getting down the power. I will have to check that out, but I am pretty used to driving fwd cars with lsd's in them, and this one feels like its got one.

I met up with a friend on a private road in my standard 97 wagon and his 04'Ctr. My wagon has done 177bhp atw and 235bhp atf at jap performance, but is a completely standard car as far as I know. The CTR is the facelifted version, which I think I am right in saying has 220 bhp and the lsd, and also has an induction kit. From numerous 2nd gear and third gear rolling starts, right the way through to seventy when both cars started to stop pulling, I can report that there is absolutely nothing in it! Each car got its nose ahead slightly when the other changed gear, but that was it. The CTR got left behind when we moved to the twisties, but it could have been different in the dry. The CTR did sound awesome though.
