been hunting for tyres on the net and im bored sh*tless best price ive seen is about the 100 quid mark for a middle of the road tyre falken toyo etc anybody point me in the direction of anything decent and a reasonable price please

The goodyears are phenomenal. In the dry and the wet. Really pleased with them compared to the Bridgestone RE050s. Much quieter too.

Spend the extra and have tyres that are actually useful on the car. Remember they're the only thing keeping you on the road.

i have falkens on it at the mo and there are bad i always ran toyos on my old 205 gti so might go for them

When it comes to tyres, I'd say that you should always buy the best that you can... Ok, if you only have 60quid to spend per corner, thats different... but if you can afford it, then buy the best.

IMO, the best is Eagle F1 XL (Extra Load) tyres.. Never cease to amaze me with their grip in poor conditions.

I just put four goodyear eagles f1's on my car and i have to say its the only tires that will ever be put on the rims from now on simply an amazing good tyre espically in the wet, would recommend them to anyone

Had Goodyear F1s GS-D3 XLs on my old rims, but my new rims I collected at the weekend came with a near unused set of

Bridgestone Potenzas RE040s. They are a bit louder on the road but I havent yet noticed a loss of grip in the wet so far. But they are just until need a new set. Chris Alan whos servicing my car tomorrow is still recommending Potenzas as well, hes running a set on his Evo atm and hes very happy with them
