Just ordered 2x Garret GT2860R-5's too :D

[GT-707160-5]

This Garrett GT2860R turbocharger features:

Turbine housing is cast from high-nickel "Ni-Resist" material for extreme applications

Turbine wheel is cast from "Inconel" material for extreme applications

Direct replacement upgrade turbocharger for GT2556R (702987-7) used on Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R

Great size for applications with packaging constraints

all appears to be well but looking through the jap instructions one thing stands out.

Can anyone who reads japanese tell me what its saying? Its the circled part with ! sign.

Is it just a seal of somesort? Its not in the package, so would just liek to know what the booklet is saying about it.

Translation is as follows, hope it helps.

Notice: You must fit it (the part) to the groove of the piston rod, unless this is done it may lead to a failure or accident.

changed the drivers seat mount :D

FROM - My home made bingo bodge

TO - Driftworks low mount - £119 :!

Seat does sit a lot lower though, and slides a bit easier than my makeshift one ;)

Also stripped the floor behind the seat and painted it too.

new Head, Inlet, Exhaust and throttle body gaskets

Project Mu  front discs.... gay colour.... :) Just to be used as a stop gap. Cant justify spunking another 1k + on the car just quite yet LOL. I'll go to a bigger 6pot+ setup once the car requires them. Just needed new discs as i wrecked a standard set at the last hot marques day. The are like those wee crisps... dont know if you still get them... disco's ;)
