I went to the ring on the bike two years ago... We stayed at the hotel an der Nordschleife its right next to the track

and has excellent rooms with balcony views over looking  the track...  Eddy the owner is a keen/mad biker and car

enthusiast took us round the ring for the first 3 laps to give us a feel for it...  Eddy is the man...Nordschleife is the hotel....

make sure you put some cash aside for laps as it is very adictive and i ended up doing 15 laps in 3 days at a cost of £10

a lap... The benlovejoy site is the best and i  got all my info from it... They dont call it the green hell for nothing, it can be

very scary, after you do about 10 laps or so you think your starting to get to know the track, you open it up a bit more

and more and thats when it can have you... 13 miles is a long lap to memorise with 73 bends  Give this track the

upmost respect and you will love it...

I'm going back this Friday. It's my 3rd trip there. We are going for a week this time.

I have always stayed at the Teirgarten hotel. It is within walking distance from the gates. It is the hotel that is part of the Pistenklaus resteraunt. Very very nice.

The Squirrel is a ringmeister on GT4, would be interesting to see the Gallowhill Blitzkreig in action for real.
