Its a pity we didnt have much competition, no that it had much chance against JC's green monster, 11.7 secs[] Will post up more when they download,taking ages as I have left them big so you can enjoy them more and steal them off screen for yourselves! When i saw the quality of cars in the show n shine, i thought well "av nae chunce" So off to the strip i went, .......and low and behold had a BALL and managed to come in 3rd in our class, first time out on the and it was very addictive[] Lost one race and one race only, that was to playsatan2 in the semi final, and totally no shame in that, being beaten by that machine.[] And it was me who convinced him to come along too!!![] So the heavy metal Newage, Thanks to BHP Developments and Andy F did me and its tuners proud[] As i say no shame in being beat by that monster of a car of Colin's[] Well done to JC that thing really is MENTHOL m8 goes like [li], Cheers for the grub, Hope you liked the coke, sorry it was de caff[] But at least you can sleep when its de caff. [] LOL Great turn out we wiped the board with the trophy's no surprise there, Hope this will get the attention it deserves, and maybe we will get a wee write up in "True Grip" ?? Again this shows the massive support that SIDC has in Scotland, top class Great photos from Colin as usual, guess what is now my wallpaper on my laptop and Desktop[] Stage 2 coming sooner rather than later, hope to have it done before Knockhill on the 7th[] If i can get booked in to Wuz and Andy before then, that is. colin_ross Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 I must say I was very disappointed in how the day went. I was promised lots of evos to bait but it turns out they were all washing their hair that day. Either that or they have one look at the superb turnout on the SIDC stand and headed off without even parking up. The show 'n shiners did us proud and cleaned up so to speak. Del, that 22b rocks! Nice to see the whole family pitching in. The strip was lots of fun and I came away with a PB too but I know there's lots of room for improvement, a certain green machine showed us all how it should be done. JC that car is a credit to you and I couldn't have lost to a nicer guy. Next year mate. Craig's motor gave us all a fright too, it's pretty fast, for a newage. Only downer was Peter's mishap. Sorry I couldn't be of more help Pete but I HAD to head off. I hope it's not too serious and remember to upgrade not replace.

mrs. jc scoob Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yes it was a great day well done to Jon and to me for putting up with him[].Now the only problem is he will be all out to better his PB so looks like next year will be just as bad,just as well I'm easy going LOL.There were a lot of fast cars there Andy N also got into the 11's I think he had Jon biting his nails for a moment its just a pity there wasn't a broader selection of other cars to see []
