gogsie Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Aye good day, great to see so many scooby's turn out - we did the club proud. We will need a trophy cabinet now. Hope the Polis I passed going through Crail didn't catch anyone! The grub was great apart from me feeding one of the girls a RARE burger. Going to miss knockhill but I think the car could do with a rest. A well off to bed 05:00 check-in tomorrow morning 2 flights and a boat later and by Tuesday I will be on the rig and straight to work. What a life - never mind it will pay for stage 2 but don't tell the wife [Y] [] PS Had a look under the bonnet oh the wee fast mini, bloody thing had a 1600cc VTEC in it - what a tool.

st3ph3n Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Would that be me parking where I shouldn't? [:$] I blame all those Subarus that turned up. Can't go anywhere without finding them these days. Nuisances.
derek_robertson Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 pretty funky pic that cheers... hope Fee was looking after the old girl Crackin looking Porsche Adam, always been my favourite car.............someday I'll have one, 993 turbo would do nicely. []
craigwrx Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Great run on the way up, nice run back, and a great day out at Crail, not had so much fun in while [Y] Bad luck to Peter ...hope u get her sorted quick mate, i'm sure she will be even better when u do ..
st3ph3n Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 The run back was spoiled a wee bit by some slow moving traffic on the way to Kincardine after we crossed the motorway, but before that it was run at a nice pace. The RA is a cracking car and looks very composed on the road. My clutch was a wee bit iffy pulling away from a few of the junctions early on, but it was fine by the time I got home. I think serious use at crail would require an upgraded one.
jonnyb80 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 look like it was a fun day all wish i had off popped along now
graham_nairn Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Hi folks Had an absolute cracking day. Weather couldn't have been better. My face is still red raw from the sunburn. First time I been to an event like this with the club managed to get to speak to a few peolpe cant remember all the names. Thanks to Del for making me enter the show and shine. Just missed out on best jap car, will have to get the power washer out on the engine for next time.
derek_robertson Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 You were unlucky Graham, get that engine bay & wheels tidied up then you'll be a Show & Shine winner. The shine on your car was the best I'd seen all day[H] See ya, Del
RA Dunk Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Oh and are there no Evo's in Scotland today? Where were they all? Somewhere where they could possibly have won something? Well it certainly was nae Crail the day FPMSL[] Craig what ever happened to the little challenge from them last week after yer RR session? the "well see ya at crail one"?
