Oh yeah, 380bhp at the wheels and 411 at the fly??? Can't work that one out?

Neither can i mate....only a 30bhp between mines as well and the same on a few car that i've seen too.

Surely that is not correct...only 30bhp transmission lost in a 4 wheel drive system...

Colin, it looks like your power and torque graph are the wrong way round.  Never seen a power band like that before or a torque curve so peaky,  5000 rpm is sure gonna hit like a fecking steam train.

30bhp loss through the transmission is very low for a 4wd car indeed

Here are my graphs, not very clear pictures but you can see where its all happening, and where the car was jumping. Gerry said the end results were not conclusive and alot more should have recorded, but I am happy with what they managed to get. Ill have the front struts aligned properly for upping the boost.

However, not bad results for a 2 litre at 1.6bar [:o]

I like how the car goes from @ 130bhp to 420bhp in about 700rpm.

Interesting point about the flywheel to wheel horsepower conversion Colin. Moight be worth giving Gerry a ring on monday.

Now that is a torque curve to be proud of, normally i can look at a torque graph and advise people to thier best shift up point to get the best acceleration out of the car.  In this case the best advise is to drive it like you stole it, you crazy horse

So it does! Hmmm, thats peculiar. I never even looked at that just assumed 26psi was 1.6.Dho!

Ah well. One ive had a tweek on the 26th and aligned the struts Ill go up to dastek again and see what it does.

From what i can make out the torque rises steep as Everest! [:o]

So where will i get that extra 11bhp from to get to the magical 400 figure.............

Whats causing that boost drop off? Why is it not holding.......??????

3" Pipe? Injectors and another we visit to Andy? Would that do the trick?

3" pipe would help you higher in the rev range but would need to know the rest of your spec for an informed opinion.
