Fox Subaru

I am sure many of you have seen my previous post about the total lack of service i have got from Fox's Subaru in the past.

Well i thought i would post again about the latest addition.....

1) I require a 30,000 mile service.....

I called at 9:15am this morning but it was to early and i had to call back at 10:30am.

Its now 4:20pm and i still have been unable to get my car booked in.

I am convinced that Fox's will not be around very long as they have NO IDEA about customer service.....

Its funny really 'cos I went past there last week and stopped to have a nose round their forecourt - the chairman and his brother(?) were more than happy to try and flog me a nice 55 plate motor they had there and were going on about how keen they were to do business with Kent Scoobies, both for sales and servicing; they couldn't speak highly enough about their service facilities. They even give me a load of cards to pass out - looks like it could be a case of running before they can walk. Perhaps someone ( Phil Stephens or a Kent club representative?) should have a word with them since it would be a real shame to lose such a local dealership.

I have had enough of them mate... Going to take it to Gatwick as they always seem helpful.

Can you believe i tried 3 times to buy a car from them also in the early days and NEVER received a call back.  This was with 3 different people.

I am so annoyed you would not believe. Utter waste of my time.

Could you please call him and he will look into what the issue is. Your post implies you were going to call them back What was the result of your call at 10.30?

Fox Subaru have every intention of being here for many years to come

Cheers for the info, think they do need to sort out a few issues having dealt with them. Lets hope they get it together as they need us as much as we need them[Y]

I will call him now....

I called at 10:30 and a lady asked for my registration.... could not find it on the system and said that she would need to call me back.

I got a call back from a chap in servicing who then left a message to call him... which i did.

Then i called again moments later and agreed to hold.... 

They suggested that they ring me back again...

They did at which point a lady asked me my registration again and around we went again.... Its not on the system... blah blah....

I will update again in a moment once i have spoken to them again....

Phil likes a Lager cocktail (50% 1664 and err 50% 1664) - Stirred (anti-clockwise), but not 'shaken' if you wanted to thank him! [:(]

Just pleased its resolved

Sometimes people complain on here and the people that matter don't get to hear there is a problem to actually sort it

I am always happy to speak to any dealer or supplier to try and resolve issues

I used to use foxs until i took my car in for a noise on the

n/s/r suspension. They had it in three times ,On the third time

they said my boot spoiler was loose and that they put a new nut on

and said that the noise was gone .It was a warranty claim But they charged me £25 

for the pleasure . I knew the spolier was fitted correctly with lock nuts cause i put it on

1 week before .when i got the car back the noise was still there .I then took it back Where they found the n/s/r strut had a fault so they replaced it. But would not give me my £25 back .So until they do

They dont get my business anymore .

Ive started useing xtreme scoobies which is a fairly small garage .But the service you get is very good

Everything that foxs is not at the mo .

I have just booked my car in for it's first service, they are funny one minute and fine the next.

My old man bought a citroen from there and he thinks they are w*****s.

But i tried for two days to get an insurance quote from Keith Michaels, i spoke to Gary Molson, who said he would call me back with my quote.

He didn't bother to call me back, so i gave up. How shitty is that.

Glad its not just me......but a shame as we do need a reliable local dealer but word spreads fast about bad service.

I have booked my car in for its service and will give feedback once its all done.  Goes in on the 13th September and i will post the good or bad news.

I am sure it will be ok.....

Car goes in today... heading down to Foxs shortly....

Have not worked out how i am getting back yet so if anyone is around there at 9am ish let me know :)  Gis a lift back to Brands.
