st3ph3n Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Paul, all the stuff inside I did. Electrics and mounting the pod. I just didn't fancy mounting the sensors in the engine in case I made a right arse of it, so I got spooks to do that bit. Which you are correct in saying I stood and looked and pointed a bit and generally tried to keep out of the way. Higgy, I bought them off an ebay seller who has had a few sets on recently. Sheep also bought a set and he's pleased with them. He has a set on just now for about the same as I paid - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-Subaru-...emZ110025076821 They look the absolute business as they are STI branded. Sheep posted a pic of his here - http://forums.sidc.co.uk/forums/756349/ShowPost.aspx
gus the bus Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Hmmm! I'm sure I was there holding a socket n spanner too[][]
st3ph3n Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 That you were Gus. You did more than I did anyway.
gus the bus Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Didnt realise that it was Far East you got the Defi's from. Had it in my mind it was the states. Must have been coz it was in Dollars[] Gus

gus the bus Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Brian, Maybe you could trade? You valet their cars to the Sammy Chamois standard and they fit you gauges[][] Sponge Bob[]
st3ph3n Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Nae probs Brian. I can hack the electrics if someone can do the sensors (Gus got a good look []). You'll probably need a plastic t-piece for 5mm vaccum hosing, and also a length of vaccum hosing for the boost sensor. Easy to get at your local motor factors place. Probably also a gallery plug to mount the temp sensor, Subaru part number 11024AA210 at £9.87.
rallye6 Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 thanks for that guys. I am sure gus if i clean the inside of your exhaust you will assist as well.
gus the bus Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I'm sure i could do the sensors if spooks gives me his extra strength Allen key and a 12ft bar to move the fookin thing[] Always happy to help as you know! Gus PS thats Tam's job to do my exhaust cleaning[] Is he not online the night with pictures of...................[:#]
