irish al Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I would keep bidding, but not against anonymous bidders, sorry. Al
fraser_drinkwater Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I havent been on the scene for a wee while but this is a very good cause, and its good to see it still going.[]
wrxmania Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 Hi Fraser, It is a good cause and still on the go... Brian []
gus the bus Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Bttt for a worthy cause Also, Dont forget the RB Relay stickers that GT is auctioning for Santa Cruise which are currently sitting @ 30 sheets Gus[]
corsa Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 To get the price up. Ok to add to the t shirt, i never used my voucher that i won at the xmas rafle to have a meercat backbox or cold feed induction and tbh dont really need it . So to start another fundraiser i start the bidding at £50.00
wrxmania Posted August 25, 2006 Author Posted August 25, 2006 I have no idea why it is anonymous but all bids are accepted. The bids are 100% genuine and CERTAINLY NOT to get the price up
thefastone Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Well good on whoever it was that is making these annonmus(sp? - Do'h!) bids, but I dont really think that its very sporting... IMHO its not really in the spirit if the game and all that jazz, Infact I dare say that You might have others that would be more inclined to bid if they knew who they were bidding against... more of a level playing field and all that.... Fair play like I'm not bidding on it I dont have that Kind of money... but I do want to see everyone happy... [y] and as much money for our charidy as we can mate!
wrxmania Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 I suppose the person may not want to be seen to be getting "glory" from making such a large donation, or they would rather not make a big deal of it. I have no idea of the reasons and, TBH, I did not ask. If someone wants to pay good money for what is a good prize, and for a good cause, I am glad to accept it. Please be assured the bids are genuine, I know the person, and it is not me bidding to bring the price up, as (at the moment) it looks likely the anonymous bidder will win it. Ends next Friday, 23:59 LATEST, the day before the Rolling Road @ Dastek. Brian []
thefastone Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 hang about its just like the "Dear Jane" articals aint it.... "My "friend" Is in trouble what do you think....?" Its you int it Bri.... [] Dont get me wrong like, I'm not having a go or anything, just an observation.... [] Right I'm off to get some English lessons.... Ciao! []

wrxmania Posted August 27, 2006 Author Posted August 27, 2006 No probs - the highest bidder will win it. The higher it gets to the better, as it is for a good cause. Anonymous bidder or otherwise.
